Fairway Buoy — Restaurant in Torridge District

We visited here twice while staying in Westward Ho, first time on the evening to watch the sunset sitting outside on the decking it did go a bit chilly but you are on the sea front so expected. We had to scan our qr codes & sterilise our hands then we could pick our seats but had to order online which is OK with us but perhaps a bit of a faff for others. Nice pub, good outside space downstairs and upstairs on the terrace. Great seaview, right on the front. However, there is a speaker outside and while we were there it played a mix of music including heavy metal. Does the owner/manager really think that is the sort of music people want to hear in that lovely environment. One's love of music is very subjective, but the sun was shining, the sky was blue, the sea was perfect and this type of music just made us...

Every time I visit Westward Ho! I make a point to visit this wonderful pub.

Of all the pubs and bars I have been in this probably my favourite.

The staff and the locals are very friendly and there is a good range of beers, wines and spirits on offer here.

When the weather is right take a seat on the balcony and you can watch the most amazing sunset you may ever see.

All the better with a cold pint of beer.
