Visited when Manchester United were playing away so I could watch the game on TV as I ate dinner. One of the managers (I assume?) was very friendly and came over to speak to us early on, which was a nice touch. Saw him doing this with other tables too. We were sat by a window and had a nice close up view of Old Trafford, which is right opposite. There was a fair bit of a wait for the food, but I didn't mind this at all, as I was more interested in the football! When it came out, three of the pizzas were wrong, but it was dealt with immediately. Again, I didn't mind too much as my priorities were elsewhere, but they were very apologetic and even went as far to say they were embarrassed. They offered to take the one correct meal away to be replaced with a fresh one at the same time as the rest, but my wife declined the kind offer. When the correct food came out, it was good. Nothing incredible, but pretty much the standard I expected. We were able to enjoy and take our time eating while we watched the game. Eventually when we asked for the bill, I noticed it seemed a lot lower than what I had expected. I asked if something had been taken off (too honest for my own good!). The server explained that they'd taken off 20% because of the earlier errors, which was very nice of them to be honest. They wouldn't have even mentioned it if I hadn't, which was classy of them.

We visited Cafe Football 20/12. We went for afternoon tea as a celebration for my grandparents. We absolutely loved it. The whole experience. From stepping foot inside, we were treated like royalty, the staff couldn't do enough for us. The restaurant was lovely, my grandparents loved it. My grandad is a united fan and we had a fabulous views of the stadium. The afternoon tea was delicious. Really can't fault anything. Thank you for a fantastic experience and making the day so special.

Stopped at Hotel Football so ate here 4 times. The staff and service were great. However I think they got with the motto of Quantity not quality. Had a burger one night and found it to be virtually raw in the middle but burnt outside. Had a steak the second night and although the steak was large it wasn’t great for nearly £20. The breakfast on both mornings have to be my best meal there. Overall I would say it’s a poor mans F&B’s

Posting here as the cafe hadn’t the courtesy to respond to a private DM. We were extremely and genuinely disappointment with the cafe. We had booked for 10.15 online as it was latest slot available before the Brentford game.. I was bringing my three daughters (13, 12 & 10) to OT for the first time and this was a little pre game surprise. When we arrived the staff were a little at odds that we had a booking rather than being hotel guests but they found the booking and seated us. The table was sticky and we were then left for 15 minutes when we then had to ask to have our order taken. Very quickly we realised we caught the tail end of the hotel breakfast service rather than an actual cafe sitting. We got our food which was just ok. However before we had finished the breakfast buffet was being cleared. We had to get out of our seats and ask for ketchup and butter as the table was being ignored. One of my daughters went to get orange juice but it was gone with all the food that had been cleared. To top it all off we were charged €18 per head even though we just had mains off the menu and despite the buffet and drinks being cleared before we finished eating. My youngest daughter simply had 3 sausages and toast and was charged the full £18 which I feel is outrageous. We had one coffee and two glasses of apple juice between us all before the breakfast was cleared. All in all really disappointed. Just don’t take booking this early if it’s hotel guests breakfasts only. I would not recommend and advise anyone to avoid the morning of the game if not a...

We arrived late to the suite for the match day hospitality to find Giggs already taking the Q & A session. We were greated by a waistocated gentlemen telling us that as he's already started, we'll have to wait downstairs. His senior then overruled this decision and decided that we were allowed to sit down after all.

Admittedly we had arrived late but we weren't at all happy when we were told that we couldn't have any food other than a fig dessert. I've never liked fig.

After the initial dissapointment, our waiter brought us some menus from downstairs telling us we could order from the normal mmenu. He then told us we would have to pay for it! We couldn't believe it. Have we not already paid enough for our match day hospitality? The impression we had was that our food was covered in the inital cost. He then returned to tell us that we wouldn't have to pay after all. What a rollercoaster!

Three of us ordered the Scholsey and our other pal chose the 66. Scholsey tasted like a dry chunk of dog food wrapped in suet pastry accompanied by some depressing soggy peas. The 66 wasn't much better .A burger with no bun? Proper match day scran for a big hungry lad who's watching his carbs.

All in all the experience wasn't what we expected from the legends of the class of 92. The worst part is, we've got the rest of the season to go! Never mind Tottenham melting us 3-0.

Shocking performance. Get Fergie in with the hairdryer to sort out...

Booked in with excitement to visit the Cafe which over looks Old Trafford…. First impressions not blown away but took a seat in the bar area whilst waiting for booking slot….. bar was lovely …. Lovely pics on walls …. Big Tv ….Staff young and semi attentive. Menu was fine …. Ordered a double patty burger and fries ….. got food and it was just a single patty…. So I just mentioned to server to say this may be the wrong dish …. They checked and said no it’s correct but the butcher delivered the wrong burgers and that patty is the weight of 2 pattys …… the term trying to bluff a bluffer springs to mind …. I said surely that’s not correct… the Manager / Supervisor got involved and was quite poor at customer service… continued to not offer in my opinion a solution….. offered bluntly do you want something else ? …. My Son was with me so I just said listen just leave it … my son wasn’t comfortable with the scene being created so I sat in silence waited until food was finished by my son …we had plans to get desserts …. But just wanted to leave so I Paid and left…. The full amount of the bill ….I was asked if all was ok and I told them it wasn’t … in fact quite poor. I hope management look at a more honest approach with their menu in future as it’s a beautiful spot in an amazing area but if located beside the Theatre of Dreams let’s not get the nickname Cafe of Football… theatre of...
