So I walked into the pub by my self ordered a pint started to drink the pint amicably with no problems then a rather ‘large’ woman so called manager/owner came up to me and said finish your pint and get out. I asked why and they said no away fans aloud in pub even though I wasn’t even at the game or had any shifts/colours on that represents my team! Then all of a sudden I have a bouncer at the front of me and a bouncer standing behind me. The bouncer at the front told me to get out NOW so he made me force my pint down. Then as I left everyone laughed. That is what you call pure descrimination I would avoid this bar at all costs unless you want to be treat like a dog because there team was loosing...
Read moreMy son and I popped in here for a pre-match drink, (home fans only) after the wetherspoons across the road wouldn't allow under 18's in. There was a small entrance fee. The drinks aren't cheap but neither are they extortionate, about £8 for a pint of lager and a can of Pepsi max. Atmosphere was good in here and steadily got busier towards kick off time. There wasn't any trouble, door staff and bar staff were all friendly and helpful. There's an excellent mural of the man united badge, on the side of the building, many people were getting pictures of themselves in front of it. Next time we come to see a match, we will...
Read moreVisiting from the States, this was a great pub which is child friendly. (1£ pp to enter on match day.) only open on match days apparently. I enjoyed a bev and my child had a Pepsi. Only about 12 seats total in this pub so if you don’t arrive early you’ll be standing. We arrived about 4 hours before kickoff and were able to enjoy the crowd before heading off to the match. No food served here. Would definitely come back. Incredible murals and memorabilia through out...
