House Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Trafford

Absolutely awful, turned up noonish, the place was trashed, literally felt and smelt like I had walked into someone house party from night before. Ladie was serving builders out the back and we were ignored for 15mins whilst she flapped around, glasses from night before still their, this was unfortunately a bday groupon meal booked for the other half which after calling to check I can use was told we coulnt ( may say in small print on group on) but it was a last minute booking and just called each place before buying 15minuted before arriving. Anyway, the state of the place and the fact I couldnt get a deal to eat in that place, we left without hesitation!!!

Would prefer to pay more, we ended up at a place in town centre pierre bistro, which I highly recommend, lovely place, great value, service 2nd to none and food high level!!!

Dont waste your money, tummy (place a mess) or time going here when a place like bistro pierre is literally round the corner, you will...

Don’t mistake this for what was known as ‘House’. Rebranded as ‘Loft’ with a different menu, we booked a table on the ‘House’ website expecting it to be as normal, we weren’t advised anything had changed so why would we expect it? On arrival we realised there had been a rebranding but the small plates menu was the same so we thought we’d give it a try. On ordering we were informed that none of the small plates or side orders were available so we could have pizza or tacos... I was disappointed but like tacos so gave them a try... it took an eternity to place the order, as the girl behind the bar really didn’t know how & gave a lot of confusing information! When the food arrived I really wished I’d gone elsewhere. The toppings were ok, served cold but ok, but the sauce was all sunk into a really bad tasting cold taco so ruined it. We left really disappointed. I hope some of the old standards will return eventually but we won’t be...

Booked to go to house for my friend’s birthday on new year’s eve. Ended the night horribly as the female bouncer attacked me over an issue where my friend had lost her earring and they would not let her back in to look for it. Unprovoked aggression including pushing me and grabbing me by the neck. I have video evidence of her pushing me, and threatening to ‘knock me out’ for standing outside the venue. Horrible lady who clearly gets a kick out of causing harm to drunk vulnerable young women. Even one of the other bouncers agreed that she was horrible. I have attached a photo of her and will be filing a complaint directly. Security are meant to make you feel safe and protect you, not assault...
