Came here with Icarus and three others on a mid December 2023 Thursday afternoon. Had a great couple of hours in this traditional pub. (First ever visit. I think United legend Pat Crerand used to own it...He is 84 and could probably put more effort into a game than some of the current players.) It is a Craft Union pub and thus exceptional value. Tried ordering a pint outside and the lady who was taking table orders, took extreme offence at my sarcastic face mask saying " Northern scum.." the one with the short grey hair.. I tried explaining that i was northern too and it was just a joke mask.. I think she's had a humour bypass, I'd definitely avoid this place like the plague..Very unfriendly pub..there's other pubs round...
