Rhode Island used to have a store in the Grafton Mall, where I would spend many a morning relaxing before work. Now they've reopened on George St, in a much bigger, lighter, and roomier premises, and it's a welcome addition to Altrincham.
As usual, the standard of coffee is as high as you'd expect from Rhode Island - not just the roast they use, but also the quality of the finished drinks.
While high street coffee chains can be fairly similar, this store is noticable for the amount of room on offer. You don't feel hemmed in, and the store never feels too packed. Not bad, and I'm being picky, but four stars gives us room for improvement and I will visit again. Hint...get a...
