Paola's Cafe — Restaurant in Uttlesford

I came here with my baby when visiting the area and had such a warm and wholesome welcome that I had to find an excuse to come back! Clare and Paola are two of the loveliest and most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and were so kind and patient to both me and my grouchy baby! The atmosphere was great and you could really see how much the locals enjoyed coming into the cafe. Added bonus that the food was fab and prepared very quickly! I’m not one to usually do reviews! But I’ve just had bacon sausage and egg sandwich from Paula, loads of bacon, a proper sandwich which I haven’t had from any other cafe in a very very long time, and I have to say it was “bangin”. Atmosphere and service was 11/10, had a lovely chat with her and made me very welcome. 100% would recommend. Doesn’t hit the pocket hard, and it’s quality food! Support small buisness like these people! I’d rather pay a couple of quid extra than pay £4 for meal deal from Tesco any day. Definitely...

Absolutely love this place. Regularly get my coffee from here and recently took the kids for breakfast.

Great coffee for starters, and the food is lovely. Myself and kids had a full English and it was really tasty, great local produce and cooked very nicely.

The key thing for me is that the service is excellent, everyone is very friendly and welcoming and you feel very well looked after.
