Most appalling KFC Restaurant and staff. Every time they send an incomplete order when we order on-line and when we try to phone up and tell them about it, no one wants to take responsibility. Then some joker so-called duty manager comes on the phone apologising but saying there is nothing that he can do about it. So here we are spending so much money, even paying delivery charges and waiting for ages expectantly for our dinner only to get an incomplete order delivered of cold, hard as rock chicken and chips . Today, the 3rd of August, 2019 we ordered a 10 piece Wicked Variety Bucket and when it came we just got 6 pieces of chicken...one was a leg which was bone bare with only some hard batter hanging from it. When we complained over the phone a so-called incompetent duty manager called Irfan was most unhelpful In the same manner as they had done so before, he apologised pretending to say how sorry he was but could not do anything to rectify this error. He even put the phone down on me and after phoning up again and asking for him, he came back on and gave me a phone number asking me to contact Just Eat because apparently KFC does not pack the on-line orders but it's done by Just Eat.??? Is there any sense or logic in this? This is just beyond ridiculous. Never going to order anymore from KFC at Wakefield Westgate. A total shambles...
Read moreAbsolute rubbish. Ordered food and there was no mention of a delay. After 10 minutes the counter area was getting overcrowded with annoyed and frankly fed up customers. From our table we heard a staff member tell a customer there was a 10 minute wait for chicken. 50 minutes later we will still waiting. Several people had complain and were met with an unpleasant attitude from staff. My partner had approached the counter twice and given different times,still no chicken. When I approached the counter I was told they now have chicken but have now run out of other items. This was after almost an hiurs wait of being lied to just to stop customers for wanting their money back. Staff were ignorant and rude at times to customers. When I ask what items they had run out of the server replied 'mini fillets and stuff' but wouldn't give me any more details. I could have changed my order but we were getting no where. They made sure the just eat drivers got there food before sorting the eat in customers. I was not the only unhappy customer. We were in a line to get a refund but even then we were being told ' just 3/4 minutes'. The worst service ever in a KFC. Refunds should have been given after being made to wait so long and WITHOUT QUESTION. People were made to feel they were in the wrong to ask...
Read moreThis store is an absolute joke. I must point out the review reflects the management team and NOT the front of house staff. Heres a quick overview of my last 3 visits. 2 mon. f ths ago: late night meal. Food was all dry and not even warm. Had obviously been left standing but we were still served it. Staff was all in the back laughing and giggling. We ate some and just left. Last month: we came in ordered. They took our money then 3 mins later was told there was no gravy (one of the main reason for our visit). Todays visit 11:45) I have just been served be the lovely smiley and cheerful Hayley who took my order. She was then told by a member of the kitchen management (a guy in a grey shirt with a snood called Jamie) that there was no chicken and there would be a 15 min wait. Now this is again after they had took our order. I called over to Jamie and ask how at this time of day when there were only 4-5 people in could they not have any chicken ready. His reply was a shrug of his shoulders a mumble under his breath and he walked away leaving Hayley to apologise.
