Silver Spice — Restaurant in Wakefield

I am a cab driver, passing through Wakefield with a huge urge for a top breakfast. Low and behold "Silver Spice" answer to my prayers.

The staff was amazing, humble, and friendly. Made me feel welcomed and treated me with respect. Nice and pleasant atmosphere in this cafe. I had ordered "stuffed paratha" stuffed potatoes inside a fried buttered chapati, delicious. Then I ordered a really nice omelette with cheese, chicken, onions, and green peppers served with baked beans. Omd, I could die happy. The food was cheap, that should be a warning sign.

The food isn’t made fresh to order, heated in containers in the microwave.

The mango chutney was not mango chutney and smelt so bad.

We are not good snobs by any means but the fact locals recommended this place, does not bode well for the taste buds of Wakefield.

It mainly went in the bin and we won’t be back.

Safe your cash unless you don’t really care about what you eat.

They claim I was angry to staff, I’m sure they have video footage to prove otherwise.

The owner is extremely polite and the quality of the food for the price is smashing. The only thing which I'd say I get annoyed about is when making a phone order on several occasions my order was messed up by the ladies working there. I understand English isnt there first language. But one time I'd repeated the order 3 times to them and made them say it back and they still managed to mess it up. The only time my phone order isnt messed up is when the owner is taking it.
