Clueless bar staff. Waited at bar 4-5 mins, a bunch of lads walked in got served straightaway. Pointed this out to the female bartender who served who replied with 'The bar staff will decide who gets served first'. No apology. So, as a customer, I decided that this particular bar staff member was a clueless, unskilled individual who had no idea how to serve punters.

Yes, we walked out.

PS if the Cambrian Tap managers/owners want to know, we were in there, briefly, around 5-6pm Saturday 16th November. A bit of basic serving skills, including memory in terms of keeping an eye on what order people get to the bar and basic customer service training should fix this. For a city centre pub on the corner of chippy lane and surrounded by large pubs and clubs, the Cambrian tap is very small. It's not very well lit and the whole design is predominantly dark wood design. I believe this is a Brain's pub so expect the Brain's selection but they also have a great selection of guests beers. They seem to bring in a selection of guests at each time ranging from stouts and porters to lagers and session IPA's. There are about 3 or 4 tables outside with chairs. They also have music nights here but don't expect top notch performances. More local singers...

If you’re looking for a drink that’s out of the ordinary then this is the place to go! There wasn’t a single drink name which I recognised but the staff were able to recommend options when asked and the prices were reasonable. There’s some good seating throughout including comfortable booths for small groups which was great. The atmosphere was good although the industrial decor might be a bit raw for some, despite being clean as far as I could tell.
