Coffee Shed — Restaurant in Wales

I used to love this place! A cute and quirky coffee shop. But on the last two occasions, that has not been the case. I will recount on the most recent encounter, as this was the poorest experience. I attended with my parents, with whom I had a light lunch. During our time there, we sat on a table with one seat facing two of us on the bench. There were several tables with dirty dishes or crumbs left on them. Several staff had a rude manner about them. One member of staff smashed a milk jug while clearing a table, they picked up the large shards of glass, but never came back to sweep the remaining pieces up, which I could see glimmering from my table. Another member of staff asked my mother to get up from her seat so she could pass her with a trolley of dishes. Instead of problem solving, by carrying a few dishes to the trolley, or even going around the other way. My mother was visibly shocked that she had been asked to get up, when the staff member had made no attempts to explore another option. To add, the prices of items on the menu have increased (which is understandable due to the cost of living crisis), for 3 of us to have a hot drink each and a turkey baguette it came to £40. Which for a place we used to see as a cheap place for a drink and light-bite, unfortunately doesnt meet that idea anymore. Have visited many times but things just seem to be getting worse and not better. Called today for coffee and cake . The till and ordering system seems problematic it takes sooooo long to place a order. The tables majority of tables hadn't been cleared of previous clients plates etc which made choosing somewhere to sit a bit of a problem. Had to move dirty plates and cups ourselves to get somewhere to sit. Ordered coffee and cake, coffee arrived promptly but after 10mins the cake hadn't arrived, when I politely requested as to where my cake was I was informed that there were 2 people in front of me and I would have to wait. Sorry but I'd waited 10mins already so requested a refund and left. To the owners you really need to sort out your ordering system as it's not up to much. Whilst I had my refund there were at least 5 others waiting to order your going to loose customers if this Sorry state continues. One regular customer who may not be...

Straight away the atmosphere was "off" I was receiving some weird looks from some of the customers and some side eyes from the staff behind the counter.

The lady at the counter was very rude and would not even talk to me or acknowledge me until it came to pay when she asked me if I am going to be the one paying and "did i want anything". She also ignored my mother when she tried to make small talk and compliment her on the cafe , the lady just gave her a grimace look and ignored her.

We ordered 2 coffees , and it took about 30 mins before we got the coffee in which the lady had served 3 other people who ordered after us.

The coffee itself was boiling hot, the glass cups it came in were burning us to touch it. The actual coffee was burnt . I can only assume she steamed it for the entire time.
