Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

This used to be our local Costa, however we moved a bit further on but we still drive the extra few miles to visit this one as the staff are extremely friendly, polite and are very good at their jobs. We go so often they even know what drinks we want and how we like them. Which you don’t get usually from other coffee shops. The staff always make time to chat whilst preparing your drinks, speed of service is great. Coffee shop is always clean with plenty of customers and a good atmosphere. Drinks are always made correctly and taste great. I usually love going to Costa. But the last few visits, the food and drink offering is not as good as it used to be. The prices have gone up, but the quality just isn't there. The premises are grubby and look like the place could do with a deep clean. Today in Prestatyn, a few sad looking cakes and some over priced toasties and balms where on offer. We purchased some raspberry slices, which on eating, where dry and stale. Got our money refunded. Hot chocolate was disappointing too. No cream, they had run out. Hear this a lot at Costa. Will I go back? I don't know. Do they care?...

Ordered a coffee and sandwich here during COVID 19. Was extremely safe and sanitary. The staff cleaned their hands after every interaction, there was clear signage for people to walk and social distancing was in place fully. The staff were extremely helpful and helped with some older customers who struggled to walk to get their order, they delivered the food in a safe manner. They implemented the "eat out to help out' scheme fully. What a wonderful group of staff, all were professional, helpfully and safe.
