Don't be fooled! We passed this place and it smelt lovely (even though it's just garlic), had a nice view and looked busy. First warning sign was how quickly the food arrived. It was on our table within five minutes of ordering. There's a 0% chance this was all cooked fresh. The ravioli was thick and doughy, and completely tasteless. I've had better ready-meal ravioli from the supermarket. It came with a single leaf, which was similar in taste and look to a dandelion leaf, extremely bitter. The pizza was large and generously topped - unfortunately the taste was abysmal. The mozzarella was thick and chewy, as though it had quickly congealed after leaving the oven. The aubergine and courgette were watery and tasteless. The black olives were very familiar - they were exactly the same as those which are 50p a jar in Lidl - no wonder they were generous with them. I could barely taste the tomato sauce and the base was thick and doughy, burnt to an inedible crisp at the crust. The whole thing was doused in dried herbs to try and make up for the lack of flavour. The waiters here were overly attentive at first - too quick to take your order and bring the food - but once it had arrived completely ignored us. One waiter was trying to be humorous but it came across as rude and sarcastic. He seemed more interested in the table of teen girls next to us despite being 50+. I am shocked this place has so many good reviews - I hate to sound snobbish but I don't think these people have ever had a genuinely good Italian meal before. This is bland, tasteless food at hugely marked up prices. If you want microwaved carbs you'd be far better off at a Wetherspoons.

So revisted since the below review, again food was great and the service good, the only negatives are the king prawn ravioli.. the prawns still had their tail shells on.. why ? It just makes it more difficult in order to de-shell them especially in the sauce that comes in the meal, my wife asked for her sauce to be in a bowel but unfortunately this couldn't be done.. I struggle to understand why this couldn't be done ??? Especially when the plate comes with so much sauce and we'd experienced the week before hence the request Shame.. the other thing was that they have no alcohol free drinks such as zero % gin, larger or wine. They need to get with the times and have this on offer. Great food today at Florentino's, food was on point and plenty of it, service was also very good and catered for all our needs. I had the lobster 🦞 which was in like a Bolognese and garlic sauce.. very nice, lobster was a little small but priced accordingly. I did feel a little rushed towards the end as it started to get busy and space seemed a premium which was disappointing as the table was beig cleared as we were still having desert. But I would recommend as its a little taste of Italia and done very well. Also the waiter needs to remember where he is when he says "Bon Appetit" in an Italian restaurant 🤣

Booked here for Monday evening as we knew it was busy in Tenby. Nice atmosphere with good mixed age and pleasant staff. Very busy when we dined here, we booked for 6pm, people were being told come back at 10pm Service was pretty quick, but they didn't rush us with our food or drink. We didn't have starters as individuals but instead shared the bread with oil and balsamic. This was really nice as the bread was freshly cooked and warm. For mains, I had lamb, with the roast potatoes side, and my wife had lobster linguini. She didn't know it was half a lobster, which she would have to crack open. This gave us some entertainment and the table next to us had the same. Both meals were delicious, and I would definitely recommend this place if in Tenby. Prices are fair, and the view across the bay is a nice setting. We had a house bottle of red, which is a shiraz. This is quite often our wine if choice when out, so that went down well. Overall, it was a great location, good food and a nice atmosphere and place to eat. Hope you find this review useful.

For the love of god, please please please read this review first before coming here.

Summary - Food is bland. Customer experience is worse. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

From the moment of booking to leaving this place was nothing but red flags.

The gent who answered the phone was extremely rude and questioned us about the times etc. multiple times.

When arriving, we were sat right by the door, not a huge problem but the door was left open every now and again causing the sea breeze/rain to come in.

My friend has an eye impairment, so whenever we're in a place that requires a form of reading the menu, the menu has to be read out to him. Not a big deal. However, we had the lovely privilege of having the person we spoke to over the phone as our waiter...he approach the table to ask us what we want for drinks, and then complained how we haven't even looked at the drinks menu yet?! Throwing aggressive hand gestures as if we've wasted his time. At this point I was ready to leave but everywhere else was booked. After this he came back several times to ask us if we had any questions about the menu as he could see I was sitting next to my friend and explaining the menu to him.. My friend then requested if ONE ingredient could be removed from the dish to which the waiter replied with "Well what else am I supposed to put in the dish". The ingredients in question were something added in not an important key factor to the dish. Extremely unprofessional.

Food came, literally within 5 minutes of ordering.. kind of makes sense now why they were so reluctant to accept the changes to the dish. There is absolutely no way the meals here are prepared fresh. Food was completely bland and watery. I've honestly had better quality food from meal deals in super stores.

After paying, no thank you, no conversation, just a receipt thrown down and them walking away.

I'm somewhat local to Tenby, but I'd hate to see people visiting Wales from other countries experience this place as a special meal. There is absolutely nothing special about this place. The only thing you will get from here is a bad taste, both from the food and so called "customer service". Please visit elsewhere if you're here for...

A walk in group of 10 people and the hosts seemed happy to accomodate us outside which on a bank holiday felt almost too good to be true. I used the word accomodate very loosely as we were greeted with Unfriendly staff who seemed to be in a rush taking our orders and made no effort whatsoever. The food came out in less than 10 mins which felt suspiciously quick given what we had ordered. When bringing out the food the servers barked the names of the dishes almost accusingly at us and got one of the orders wrong (a pizza had been ordered and arrived lacking the single topping that had been requested then once this had been pointed out to the servers they took the pizza away and brought back the same pizza with a handfull of olives strewn haphazardly across it and charged £3.50 for the pleasure) We also had to request the correct cutlery. As for the food that had arrived correctly it all seemed tasteless save for the copious amounts of parsely dumped on top. When it came to the bill we were told the bill could not be split by the servers as apparently this was too much hassle for them. It is important to note that our party contained 3 individuals who work ln hospitality and had all used the exact same card readers in their respective places of work and knew it could be split easily. We worked out what each of us had ordered and paid our respective bill and we were nearly chased down the street by our waiter holding a calculator screaming that we owed him £40 we asked to check the reciepts again but he was fairly reluctant and completly unhelpful. We worked out that we had paid £233 for an order that was supposed to come to £200 so i can only assume that the tax at the bottom of the reciept had not already been added to the total bill which is incredibly misleading. Overall a massive let down for a place that always seemed so busy. I can only assume it is because of its proximity to town as it was completly lacking in...

Avoid at all cost! Totally rude! The service was absolutely appalling! The waiter was so arrogant and rude, he really shouldn't be in the service industry. He showed us to our table, put menus down and 10 minutes later insisted that he take our food order because the food was 'so fresh' that it apparently 'took longer to prepare' and also coincidentally he needed the table back less than an hour and a half. He literally stood over me tutting whilst I looked at the menu, kept saying 'is that all?' we didn't even get a chance to order starters and when we requested garlic bread after he came back he complained that he had already put our order in to the chef! Obviously chatting in Italian and laughing together about customers that walked in asking for a table, turning them away and not even trying to accommodate an alternativeevening or time. Rolling of eyes. Totally unwelcoming. No starters, puddings or coffee offered. Made us feel very unwelcome. They accept children / families but believe me they are not welcome! One went under the table to get something that she'd dropped and the waiter pointed in dusguist until she got up and then shook his head and walked off. This was a really disappointing last meal of our holiday and absolutely not worth the price tag! Never experienced such TERRIBLE service from the one waiter. Disgusting.

If the owner cares about their business at all.... 1.Sack that waiter, he is costing you a lot of potential business and has ZERO charisma or personality. 2.Don't take bookings if you can’t accommodate them. 3.If you accept kids then offer a kids menu and at least pretend you like them. Why bother wearing face masks if its not worn over your nose? Either wear...
