I came across a small alleyway at the top of Frog Street in Tenby. In this alleyway their were a couple of restaurants and cafés. " fuchia" was one of the cafés. It is normally open to three or four o'clock, so it caters to breakfast and lunch or just coffee. We ordered different things off the menu, but apparently, the scrambled eggs and avocado are a favourite. For myself, I ordered a "New york" bagel with bacon, gherkins, and what was described as Russian dressing. I don't know what the dressing was but it was tasty. Just enough for lunch. My friend had cream cheese and salmon in a bagel, which also looked tasty. Whilst I was sitting in this cafe with the sun beating down, it was the perfect setting. Everyone around me looked really relaxed, and I might have been in the Mediterranean. The ambience and tranquility of this area in upper frog street should be sampled. The other restaurants and bars in this area gave the same feeling - good food, coffee, and a really nice atmosphere. If you are in Tenby anytime, put this on your places to eat.

I don't leave this review lightly, but unfortunately the service my family and I recieved was *very* lacking. Three servings of Welsh Rarebit simply shouldn't take 40 minutes - it is melted cheese on bread. On arrival we waited 5-10 minutes to be served, even after I went to the counter to order. Even the hot drinks took 10-15 minutes to come out. We only recieved one slice each... for £8+ per portion and a 40 minute wait, it was a bit of a joke. I had to chase the order up twice. We should have just left... Note that other review photos show the dish with two slices, so we were short changed, left feeling hungry and a bit conned. Shame, as its a nice little place, it was just *really* bad service and value, even for a holiday town, especially knowing now that we were fobbed off with half-size portions.

Dog friendly cafe with a good range of reasonably-priced food. I had a sausage sandwich which was very tasty and the dog had a sausage off the dog menu which my wife confirmed was equally tasty. They offer cooked breakfast until midday, or a vegan option, plus any other time are sandwiches, bagels, and a good selection of cake. The latte I had was great, and my wife really enjoyed her Welsh rarebit with onion marmalade. They also have a selection of alcohol to warm you up. The service was fast and friendly. The only downside for them is limited seating inside, maybe 7-8 tables. There are some extra tables outside but we went during heavy rain so no one, understandably, was out there. I’d recommend a visit.

Lovely little spot, with a nice menu, but it was unclear which items were available pre/post 12. Ordered a Rarebit and pancakes, only to be told 5 minutes later that rarebit was lunchtime only. After reordering, the food came, and the same waitress asked how everything was twice in 30s, before we had eaten a bite. The food was good for the most part, the berry compote was very sour, and lacked sweetness. The bacon was a thick slab of gammon that was very fatty, and one slice of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, and 1 hashbrown that cost extra didnt feel like much of a generous portion, which would be fine if the quality was very high, but it didnt feel like a £30 breakfast. I would reccomend better clarity on the menu with timings of availibility or at least highlighting that its a lunch menu, making the components of the full welsh more clear on the menu, and highlighting that the berry compote...

I've been coming to Tenby for many years but didn't know Fuchsias existed until today. When we arrived it was bustling and seemed to have a lively atmosphere, so we went in and found a table, I opted for the full breakfast, hash brown instead of mushrooms, and my wife just wanted toast and honey and we both had tea. I think we must have been waiting nearly an hour before the food finally came. I was quite disappointed!! It came with mushrooms as well as the hash brown so had to scrape off the mushrooms, and it was quite cold. But on a positive note it would have been quite tasty had it been hot. And for my wife to have had to wait an hour just for some toast was quite poor although they might have just wanted to serve the food at the same time. I think perhaps I would try one more breakfast at Fuchsias and hope that was...
