Worst service I have ever experienced. Went to Loafly today with my mum, we were served by a young girl who was extremely rude, dismissive and unhelpful - we got 2 cups of tea which were very weak but at least they had a nice sun garden to drink them in. Met more of our family later in the day for food, I was hesitant to return because of the girls attitude but my mum said she could have been stressed from a busy day so give them the benefit of the doubt as the sun garden was so nice. A different woman served us, older than the first, and brought out the 3 drinks. First, my dad had ordered a cappuccino but was given a latte - when my partner went in to ask if they could change it the woman was very rude and said ‘they’re basically the same’, sprinkled some chocolate on the latte and gave it back. We couldn’t believe she had said this when my partner relayed this to us but my Dad didn’t want to make a fuss so he drank it. Then my mum noticed her black coffee had had milk put in it so went in to tell them. She expressed that she was unhappy with what they had said to my partner too, and the young girls service earlier in the day, and was met by both staff being rude to her (we could hear raised voices from outside) and the young girls service earlier telling her ‘not to be so rude’ - for simply expressing her disappointment with the service. I honestly cannot believe how terrible the service was and how rude both staff were. It is a shame as the environment is nice, coffee was good (food was bland though) and garden is lovely, but I would not recommend to anyone as the custom is clearly not valued or appreciated. Very...
Read moreAbsolutely banging bakery, deli and coffee house. We visited four times during our stay in Tenby and its safe to say its a popular destination for visitors and locals alike. There was a little queue each time we visited but it always moved relatively quickly (and is definitely worth the wait) There is a good variety of gluten free and vegan baked goods available (amongst "regular" treats of course) that change daily. You can also indulge in fresh bread, deli sandwiches, quiches, salads and a selection of luxury ambient and refrigerated goods. Coffee is up there with the best we had in Tenby and you can be as fussy as you like with syrups, decaff, oat milks etc - they cater for all. Price reflects the quality. Two coffees, two cakes and a sausage roll came to around £18 but just spend the money and treat yo'self....
Read moreCute little shop, all local and homemade produce. I went into the shop via the 'gift area' side as I wanted a bottle of wine for a friend. The nice woman serving brought out the selection of reds they had and I a got a very well priced Malbec.
I was tempted by a slice of lemon and poppy seed cake while I was there as I've never tried it. It was wrapped up very well (as was the wine). I also picked up the cutest tote bag as well, good quality and lovely design as well as the momento of visiting as I'm not local to Tenby.
Very reasonable prices given local sources, the breads and cheeses looked fantastic. Good to support a lovely little business like this and service was great too.
