Joe's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Wales

Great ice cream but I'm gonna pick out some of the mistakes they need to improve on. Got in there with my children around 6pm to 6.30pm on the 21/08/2021. We were served by a girl who was standing next to a guy, her attitude seem a bit off which I was not impressed with but hey it wasn't our fault as we were just there for the ice cream. We then ordered 3 sundae, 2 were strawberry marshmallow and 1 was chocolate marshmallow. She then wiped off abit of the strawberry marshmallow on the side of the cup with her fingers. So instead of washing it off or using a paper towel, she then used the same wet cloth which is used for wiping surfaces to wipe her fingers with. Which was really disgusting and imagine the amount of people that used these cloth throughout the day. She also used the same fingers to pick up the biscuits and add them on top of the sundae. They need to work on using gloves to wear when serving customers and work on communicating with...

My disabled daughter asked staff earlier how many scoops go into a family tub, the short blonde dyed hair girl looked to her colleague and pulled a face, in plain view of my daughter and I. I said 'did you just pull a face?' to which she walked off the shop floor. It was only us in the shop all standing doing nothing apart from one gentleman cleaning. I was absolutely disgusted, my daughter asked me what did I do wrong should I have had my disability lanyard on, you can see she is obviously disabled. Not impressed we called in for ice cream for a family get together I am disgusted. She needs to be taught manners and diplomacy, really upsetting it ruined our family evening, now I have to deal with a disabled adult in tears thinking it was her fault!! She looked forward to going there as her disability was paid today, can we go to Joe's. Little enjoyment was ruined, obviously a selfish individual, who cares nothing about...

I visit St Helens Joe's regularly as can be seen on my bank (3× week) as my partner is obsessed with the ice-cream and each visit we spend over £20.

On this occasion I visited the Llansamlet one due to being in the area and found that their items are different prices and descriptions from the other branch!

When I asked why they menu is different and more expensive the girl looked at me stupid. We ordered a special Sunday and 2 small thermal containers, then had to pay for toppings and when I asked for the wafers that I normally receive, the girl advised we do not get them!

Considering you give them out for all ice-creams regardless of price and I just paid a lot on a single visit I was disappointed with the lack of service provided.

The product quality is amazing can't beat a joes ice-cream shame about the inconsistencies in menu and prices. Plus the lack of customer care, I shall not be returning to this...
