Third time we have been there now and again it was fantastic. There was an issue in the kitchen, but the staff did mention this straight away and offered complimentary hot drinks. The food was exceptional and will always go there when in Abergavenny. Second time at the Kahve, sublime food, can't say much else. I had the Turkish breakfast, my partner had, again, the Turkish vegetarian breakfast. What absolutely tasty food they do. Fresh, full of authentic flavour and very helpful when asked about some of the ingredients. If you love Turkish food or want something different, GO KAHVE. Nothing to fault, and with an Efes to boot šŸ‘. Will always go here when in Abergavenny

Really great spot, we ordered the meze platter for two made vegan and the chef went above and beyond to make it for us, even coming out to explain each of the dishes. All were absolutely delicious and we finished everything and were so full! a little wait for food but only because there was a bustling and happy atmosphere on a Friday night all sat outside in the sun, definitely reccomend for vegans and we would come again!

Staff were friendly, and the service was quite slow but not too bad. It was very overpriced for an all-day English breakfast. The 'two slices of thick cut bacon' on the menu were in reality, the size of one slice of supermarket bacon cut in two, and the plate half filled with baked beans. It was probably worth much less than half of the 13 quid with a cup of tea, to be honest. Disappointing.

Popped in to Kahve while visiting the market Tues 10th August. Waited 50 mins for our food. Instead of the meals arriving altogether, two arrived then 20 mins later the beef burger arrived and 10 mins after that the eggs Benedict came. so we all finished eating at different times. Really rubbish service. Just checked bill a coke was £1.70 and the burger was £11. I know we should of studied the menu to see exactly what the cost was. But £11 for a Burger & French fries. The roll the burger was in was IMPOSSIBLE to cut. The wrap was flat in two halves, and limp (salad) leaves. They looked like they had been thrown on the plate covered in balsamic vinegar (well that's what it looked like, didn't try them) So all in all Rubbish meal Rubbish Service for a HEFTY price. The waitress had long FALSE NAILS on which is a DEFINITE NO NO when serving food. I didn't see any sign of anybody in charge just seemed like a lot of youngsters muddling through. So the moral of the story is folks...

I'm not usually in the practice of leaving bad reviews (if you've nothing nice to say...), but having read the reviews I felt compelled to add to the comments about service in the hope the management do something about it. I visited with my 2.5yo on a Tuesday, late lunchtime. We had our order taken fairly soon but the wait for good was bordering on ridiculous. My 2.5yo is pretty good at eating out and can be kept amused whilst waiting but it got to the point where we just couldn't sit there any longer. I was about to ask to cancel my meal when it arrived but I ended up asking for it in a take out container (caesar salad thankfully). It wasn't the freshest looking salad and was very heavy on dressing and cheese, but that could be a preference thing. We wouldn't return as there are so many other places to try first. Waitresses we're rather sullen (rushed off their feet?) and I want warned about the wait. Room for...

Food was fantastic, shame the service wasn't great. There was quite a young lady managing things and we overheard her being quite rude to the table next to us and huffed and rolled her eyes when they were having a disagreement with her about their order, she then loudly told one of the waiters to move faster, repeatedly, and got part of our order wrong. We also ended up waiting about an hour for a halloumi burger and a bacon avocado wrap, which seems like an excessive amount of time for fairly quick dishes.

Would go back and give it another try as the food, when it eventually arrived, was very tasty, maybe they were having an off day and didn't realise how the poor communication between staff and generally bad attitude would effect...
