Llandudno McDonalds is the worst I have ever experienced. At about 6pm on Tuesday 16th July took my mum to get takeaway following a funeral before we headed back to Manchester. Staff were stood round at the back just chatting for ages, no-one on front desk despite big queue so there was an assumption everyone could use self-service machines. No paper to print receipts with order number. Waited a long time, def not fast food. Ordered Happy Meal and chose toy not book but got book, when took it back to change staff member was very dismissive. Unfortunately we drove and ate food at West Shore or would have taken the food back. Got cheeseburger happy meal and meat, if you can call it that, was cold, dry and cheese not melted, bun overcooked and dry. Only plus point was chips were hot and freshly cooked. Mum had chicken sandwich which she said was like rubber, bun was overcooked and looked like it had been dried out in microwave. We were starving so still ate it but won’t be going back. Staff training needed and management oversight, more training on customer service and food preparation to improve quality. I accept the food never looks like the pics but this was beyond acceptable even for McDonalds standards, so won’t be returning. Only ate due to extreme circumstances and time constraints. The 2 stars are for the drink and chips.

The new McDonald's drive-thru is atrocious. If the restaurant can't handle 2 order booths then it shouldn't offer it. Didn't have the "special" advertised on the big TV screen while you wait (BBQ Bacon stack or mozzarella dippers). The wait time is ridiculous and the food arrives cold and a congealed mess (even though it was a "fresh" custom order and opened in the car park). I've been to the new restaurant 4 times since it opened; each time has been a disaster... and each time they haven't given a receipt so I can't fill out the questionnaire online to give feedback. Today I made a point in asking for a receipt and the girl had no idea how to produce one and called a supervisor. After 2 minutes of them faffing around not knowing what to do I told them to forget it (my food was cold enough... let alone holding up the queue). I'm sure receipts are withheld deliberately so you can't prove a complaint. On the counter were bags of food that had already been prepared and not being kept warm. I got a photo of the backed up drinks but couldn't get a photo of people's orders slowly getting cold (I was trying to be subtle).

This is for the people of Llandudno should need to hear about their new McDonald's, like one is that the grand opening of their new McDonald's was done during a Coronavirus veriant called 'Delta', two is that where I live that is Birmingham City there is no 'dual storey drive thru McDonald's building' and no outdoor play thing yet in the Birmingham City area that makes it not fair to me and three is that the people of Llandudno, you may not trust this McDonald's when you see this memed picture of the grand opening of McDonald's Llandudno and the other picture as well that makes it a 'wish you are here' feeling that a lot of people missed due to English and Welsh rules of how the Coronavirus was happening on that day. So, this is a one star review of this McDonald's because I won't go back there because of the grand opening just being one day and the old building gone that my last time ever was Summer 2018 and I will say no to McDonald's Llandudno, due to a grand opening that is classed as a foul.

This McDonald’s is unpleasant and unreliable. They need to stop taking online orders, Uber eats and orders in restaurant as the incompetent bone idle staff can’t handle it. Stopped eating McDonald’s years ago and decided to treat myself when this one opened. I ordered about 6 items for myself and someone else where 4 items were missing and I was only refunded for the drink. The food was half an hour late, cold and unpleasant. I believed this was a one off so I went back and ordered the same on Uber eats. 2 items missing again and one of the orders was wrong. I was never refunded. I was hesitant to order again but due to my family wanting food I ordered along with them. I ordered the veggie dippers and a few more items for my family. After waiting 40 minutes in the restaurant (which is absolutely shocking) whilst watching staff stand there and chat looking confused and helpless I checked the bag outside to ensure they didn’t miss any items and 4 items were missing again AND there was chicken in my order and I ordered veggie dippers. I am vegan and have a severe allergy and this could have made me seriously unwell. I felt silly ordering the 3rd time so I stopped however, my family continued to order a few more times until we realised that they would never get the order right. Clearly we have some responsibility to have not continued to order after the second time but it should be expected to get bare minimum service. The staff need replacing as we’ve been told that they’re trained so clearly they can’t handle the job and need something slower paced. They’re paid above minimum wage for giving below...

Not the best McD visit I've experienced with some indifferent staff. We arrived over an hour and a half before they were due to close, and the downstairs seating area was already being shut off to customers. The order point had no printer roll, so I had to check with staff to ensure my order was in the long queue. We were made to feel like an inconvenience by our original server when collecting the food, and I had to ask for milk for the teas, serviettes and dips. Each was abruptly thrown on the counter apart from the dips which were given by a courteous staff member who spotted my mouth getting ready to address the rudeness. To put the cherry on the proverbial cake, my wrap was ordered correctly, labelled correctly, but when i opened it, it was not what was ordered! We had driven too far away to be bothered going back to complain. Not recommended unless you fancy a novelty experience.

Whether this branch is a franchise or owned by the company, I don't know, but I can't believe McDonalds is not addressing what is clearly an ongoing situation with poor customer service, hygiene standards, food quality and accuracy with orders. Is there anything left...
