Terrible.
We waited 30 minutes for our order whilst we could see staff just faffing around. There was only one person actually doing orders whilst the others (about 4 people visible) just chatted and watched him. No one was in uniform and none of their hair nets werenât on properly.
We spoke to another customer who had been there just as long as we had and she said that they lived close by but almost never came here because of bad service in the past but were so desperate after a long drive and decided to come here. Whilst we were talking we saw two other orders returned due to being incorrect. The warning bells were already ringing.
When our number was finally called they hadnât put it in a bag like we had requested on the screen to takeaway. So we waited another 10 minutes to flag down another employee to ask for a bag. My boyfriend also noticed we were missing a portion of chicken nuggets, sauces and straws.
After we finally got to the car and got to eating we realised that they got our order completely wrong.
My boyfriend had ordered a âÂŁ5 meal dealâ which has a cheeseburger, four chicken nuggets and a medium drink. He only likes cheese and the patty in his burger so he ordered it plain. They had given him a double cheeseburger with pickles, onions and sauce even though the label said it only had cheese and patty.
I had the same âÂŁ5 meal dealâ but I like extra pickles, mustard and bacon on my burger. NO PICKLES. NO SAUCE. At least the bacon was there I guess. I thought we had just switched our burgers but the labels said they were the right ones.
How does one mess up a simple order so bad?? Like itâs not that difficult; one burger has nothing apart from cheese and patty, the other has extra pickles, mustard and bacon. The last straw was that because we waited so long our food was all cold.

At the collection window they asked me to park up, after a 20 minute wait, food arrived and I informed the girl it wasn't all there and it looks like she has it in the other tray. She said no its not mine, but I said it is my registration on the receipt which was attached to the bag and she said no that is a mistake and it is for the car behind! She said I can just make a complaint when I get home, I told her thats not good enough as she has my stuff in her hand and she just walked away!!
I ended up going in to the restaurant and spoke with the manager who finally gave me the rest of the order after another 10 minute wait.
I got home (10 minute journey) to realise they hadn't given any of the drinks and the ice-creams! So another 10 minute journey to McDonalds and again, I spoke with the manager and told her about the experience and finally received the drinks and the ice-creams. By this time, it was an hour after I entered the drive-thru originally and all the food was now cold, there was no offer of replacement or reimbursement only a free 'happy meal' next time for the inconvenience.
Will be avoiding this place like the plague. Rating reduced from 2 star to 1, only because 0 star is unavailable.
Oh also, if you order from here, expect poor food hygiene as food comes down a 'slide' and opens up everywhere and staff just re-box them.

   Read moreIf you like your order wrong. If you enjoy having to enter the resturant for your drive-thru food more than once.... then this is the place for you. I have just been through their drive-thru, where the attendant taking orders went through my order 3 times. I then paid, collected and had a sneaking suspicion that it may be worth checking. And as unsurprised as I could have been, we were missing a happy meal. So defeating the object of a drive-thru, i went in to get the meal. Then once home, I passed my child their meal, gave my wife hers and then had the displeasure once again of seeing my double quarter pounder meal was a double cheese burger. I get it, double and quarter sound so similar. I then returned to the resturant, where the guy who served me like he didn't really get why having to return would be so annoying. Then gave me a new burger, no apology and when I pointed out I'd return to eat the cold meal that sat at home, he recommended I return a third time to replace it all.
Customer service at a mcdonalds once again, non existent and the complexity of putting in a bag what is written down to follow again, a difficult task.
My advice, go to another Mcdonalds. Or at this point... Burger King
Ammendment: also failed to give us straws for the drinks and dips for the nuggets we ordered.
