terrible waiter service from the manager. food wasn't made to order. burger chips and beans child's meal was awful the beans tasted weeks old looked dry and burnt.how can u burn beans.burger was one of those smart price economy ones when cooked shrunk to a 2pence piece and the chips where too fat and undercooked. meal 2 Tikka rice and naan bread.there was bits of mould on the naan and it was so hard could've done some damage if dropped. meal 3 mixed grill.Gammon dry.chicken looked like two dead chicks and dry.onions mushrooms dripping in fat thrown on the plate along with my hard egg wich i specifically asked for it to be runny.steak sausage n sweet potato fries were ok. meal 4 too polite to say anything.when I asked how was ur food his reply was 'garbage' I wasn't going to say anything until I asked for the nippers ice cream and the managers reply was yes after I've cleared the plates.with that I let rip.nobody come and asked if our food was ok although it was dead in there and when i ordered extra sauce I was made to pay at my table there and then after I'd said I'd come up and pay with my next round. overall the food was a big fat waste of money 4 hours of my hard earned cash to treat our family and in return we were given food not fit enough for my dog. all we had was a sorry which meant JACK.pubs gone to the dog's food wise. cracking pint and tidy girls behind the bar and...

Visited last night. Have to say, the food was outstanding. Reserved a table for 4, met up with friends, a nice Christmassy vibe going on.

Service: Despite a busy bar, was promptly served. Like the fact they politely inform customers that haven't booked if there is going to be a slight delay on food delivery given the number of largee bookings they catering for. That's good service. Lets people make an informed choice for themselves.

Was asked how our food was. During and after meal. Don't be shy speaking up there and then, they would prefer to rectify something if its not quite right. They would rather have happy customers after all. Why wouldn't they?!

Food: I went for the Mixed grill, large plate of perfectly cooked food. Tasty and lots of it. Steak cooked exactly how I like it, sausages awesome. Egg not overdone.

Friends had the Spicy Burger. He said he loved it and would go for it again, had just the right kick to it he said.

Wife had sausage and mash and her friend has steak and ale pie and both enjoyed with a good quantity of steak in the pie.

Clean plates all round which is why we tipped. We never usually tip in a pub but felt everything was pretty much perfect.

Will definitely continue coming here. Thanks to Jay, Leanne and staff for great food...

Amazing evening with family. We all ate different meals and some of the family are really fussy, no complaints from any of them, they all enjoyed their meals. Lm our meals came out hotband tasty and very well presented, steaks were cooked to prefection. I'm in need.of a gluten free meal and there range is very good, and how aware of the illness they are is fantastic, the landlady has family that are coeliac and I knew that I was.safe to relax and enjoy myself. The staff are fantastic, nothing is to much trouble for them and this added to a great night for us all. The drinks were brought to our table in the beer garden after food which is a lovely little sun trap and very well looked after with flowers and lights around its very relaxing. The attention to detail the whole team gives is a credit to themselves and the landlords, they should be really proud of themselves, they seem to really enjoy working here, which gives the customers a great atmosphere. We will definitely be returning and will definitely be recommending to friends and anyone that asks as we had a brilliant night. Looking forward...
