Nando's Talbot Green — Restaurant in Wales

Poor WiFi and poor mobile network signal meant a frustrating ordering experience. Nando's offer a free WiFi so you can connect and place your orders, but this failed to work - whether the AP needed to be replaced or the IP allocation list needed flushing from so many saved connections, none of us were able to use this service they advertise. The service was very mediocre, with nothing setting it apart. When speaking to the staff chasing my order after my co-diners almost finished their meal, it felt as though I'd asked them to go to the Moon for it. Like, excuse me for contributing to your company paying you your wages, I want the food I paid for! And I ordered the special fries but only got the basic ones, and the staff couldn't care less. This evening the staff at this Nando’s were so kind to me and my 3 year old. We rushed in sometime after 5 to grab a takeaway for my partner who had been sent to a&e by our gp unexpectedly which was really worrying obviously. After getting her some supplies, me and the little guy called into Nando’s for us this time, prob looking quite tired and frazzled by this point - every staff member we encountered were so kind to us, knowing we were having a stressful afternoon/ evening. They gave us our meal on the house which was such a lovely gesture and whilst waiting we were given free drinks. This is not the first time staff at this Nando’s have been really kind to us. Last year sometime my wife and I had a rare child free date and on learning this, we were delivered free puddings as a lovely surprise. My husband and I came to Nandos in Talbot Green for a celebration meal. There's a special offer advertised on the Nandos app. Unfortunately the manager was unaware of this offer. So we paid full, the special offer wasn't available. Our meal failed to arrive after 40 minutes. On enquiring where our meal was, we were told that our order hadn't been processed and the food had not been made. We waited a further 10 minutes for the food and were given a refund. Unfortunately after such a long wait and missing a film we had booked to see, we didn't enjoy the meal. The food was okay, but I don't think we will be returning to this restaurant again.
