Few vegan options | oat milk | super cozy

We came in to grab two to-go oat milk cappuccinos and immediately wished we could stay. This place is so cute, with very cozy vibes.

Our oat milk cappuccinos were first made with cow milk. Luckily, the barista herself (who was very sweet) caught this, but that did mean they had to be remade. Not a big problem, but for other non-consumers of cow milk out there, I might recommend watching their process or double-checking in some way.

There weren't very many vegan options among the innumerous baked goods, sadly. But what they did have was delicious - shortbread. Fantastic shortbread cookies, highly recommended.

This cafe is also super reasonably priced. During our trip around north Wales, I think this was the least we paid for coffee and baked goods - both of which were of a higher quality here than in many other places we visited. High quality, low prices.

Highly...

In the last week I've been here twice while on holiday. The food is excellent! The quality really is top notch and I would recommend to anyone however, with a warning... The service is kind of hostile! There's no real instruction on what to do once you enter (if you're eating in, find a table first, then join the que to order). On the second occasion I really felt like I was a massive inconvenience to the lady (short black hair) serving me. The real kicker came at the end when she presented me with my order which consisted of two coffees and 3 boxes with food and and no way to carry them! Also, no paper towels! I could have had a bag, but I needed to make a cash donation which wouldn't have been a problem if I had cash. A man in there did offer to donate on my behalf but, I felt I should probably accept my penance for hassling the lady and maybe think about trying somewhere...

Gosh this place is so lovely! The staff are friendly and helpful, and really make an effort to look after you. I don't know if the prices have changed recently, but based on the previous reviews I was expecting it to be more expensive than it was, I was very pleasantly surprised to get tea and lunch for under £7, and that included a very generous bap! Very nice! And the cakes are fantastic!! Even if you don't have time to stop in, they are very much worth getting to take home. If you are in Dol for the day, I would recommend stopping off here early on, and choosing your cakes. They are kind enough to put them aside for you, so you can come back and collect them later, and the best ones sell out fairly quickly so it's very much worth the effort.

Dangerously good cakes, the only challenge is not...

Came for breakfast here, had the large full English breakfast and it was delicious. It came with X2 sausages, x2 thick bacon slices, X2 eggs X2 hash browns. Toast, fried bread, plum tomato, beans and mushrooms (I didn't have) £11 All of it was incredible, very delicious. Didn't have a long wait, friendly staff and very hot food. I noticed the specials board, which had a good selection and at a decent price for the small town cafe it is. I would definitely recommend and go back if we went back to the area. We also took a brownie and strawberry shortcake to take away. I had the chocolate brownie which was divine. Crunchy on the outside soft and gooey on the inside. Perfect.

What a wonderful little place this is! Came in for cuppa and cake and went home with goodies for tomorrow! As we sat with our drinks there was a constant queue of locals, workmen and tourists coming in, some ate in, some took cakes away, some took hot meals away and sone were eating enormous plates of food! I know that when we're in the area again later in the year, we need to cone by again! Whether is was a snack or full on meal there was so much choice! And it all looked delicious!
