After looking at the menu outside the restaurant it seemed like somewhere me and my guest wanted to dine, we were shown to a table for two with one chair to the right of the other guest rather than opposite which was strange but looked passed that. It also seemed there was a difference in prices on the board outside than the menus given and also a 10% service charge is mentioned in small writing on the bottom of the menu which gave me red flags. For drinks we ordered 2 large cokes and I requested without ice, after that the waitress said bare in mind the drinks are room temperature which gives an instinct that they were from a bottle you would buy in Tesco, prices at £3.20 I thought that was a bit of a joke. We were then brought our drinks by a different server where he said “2 diet cokes” I then corrected him by mentioning we ordered regular coke and he immediately replied “oh yes normal coke” after one sip it was obvious that it was diet and the worst part was even with ice it was more warm than room temperature. After this the original server came over to take our food order where I then explained how we have been given the wrong drinks and she mentioned “she could have fixed that” but I replied we would give it a miss as we double checked the drinks were correct and were lied to and the price difference we had noticed. I asked am I required to pay as I’ve only had a sip and her reply was “it’s shocking” in a loud and abrupt manner which drew all the other diners attention to us, if I wasn’t trying to maintain a calm manner I would of happily said what’s shocking is your server lied to us when we asked him whether our drinks were correct and that they came out of a bottle it seemed, which at a price of nearly £7 for two drinks I find appalling when they’re served warm. Would never return here due to rude staff and service which I was astonished at. We then went to Ciliegino in the st David’s centre and we are glad we left here as the food was...

I’m a bit disappointed with this review having heard such great things about this restaurant. I have to admit if this review was based solely on the food it would be 5 stars. The tempura prawns for starter were amazing and the bhifinos main was gorgeous. Unfortunately, everything else is where the problems began.

We ordered Chardonnay with the meal and in the opinion of everyone at the table it tasted nothing like Chardonnay. It was undrinkable. Picture included with review. If you ask for Chardonnay and they bring this bottle, tell them you’ll have something else.

They brought out the wrong starter for one of our party and instead of accepting it was a mistake they told us that we had ordered the wrong starter.

When it came to desert they brought out the menus, only to find all the menus were different (pictures included). There were some items on one menu but not on the other. The items that were on both menus had different prices. When we queried this, they apologised and said that some of the menus are old menus. Surely when you change a menu you’re supposed to make sure the old menu is taken out of circulation.

We were also told that there was a special lemoncello bonbon desert. We were told it was one of the nicest deserts they have ever done and that it was to die for. After convincing our party to have the special desert, they returned 15 minutes later to tell us there were none available. Surely if you’re going to recommend something, you make sure it’s available first.

It wasn’t an awful meal but the lack of organisation just spoilt what would otherwise have been a really nice...

What an odd place! 3 of us went for dinner, around 7.30pm, took ages for them to even take a drinks order, but we persevered and finally drink and food order was taken. An hour later we asked where our food was and the waiter said he'd ask the kitchen. Another 15 minutes later we found out that our order wasn't even given to the kitchen! In this time, no further drinks orders were taken, no empty glasses were taken away and there was a lot of commotion with the staff at the bar.

We eventually got our food (except a side order of chips), which was actually very nice (it was, however, just pasta and sauce really!).

When we asked for the bill, the waiter said he'd take off one round of drinks (2 bottles of beer), the chips were still on the bill and this was not enough compensation for the time wasted waiting for food. In the end all drinks were taken off the bill (4 beers), after we asked for this and of course the missing chips!

The waiter did his best, but the general disorganisation and incompetence if the staff was very obvious.

The only reason we stayed to wait for the food was that all other restaurants we're busy and we didn't want to have to wait again!

Oh and the menus are ridiculously big! We could have made a fort out of them! Not at all practical when having a catch up with friends over...

Omg as soon as we entered to look at the menu was approached with such a welcome.obviously couldn't resist the opportunity of eating here.ordered the bolognese pizza it was to die for.would highly recommend this option.accompanied by the house wine that just made the meal complete. Staff were so friendly and helpful went above and beyond.im guessing the owner was present who was happy to talk to us.he was tasting new wines and was very knowledgeable .having discussed our interest in wines we were given the opportunity complimence of the owner to taste a very expensive e wine. Ill be honest made me day very kind and definately made my visit one to remember. Will definately return and highly recommend.

Can't really suggest what this place is like when it's busy, but we've been twice now on a Sunday evening when it was quiet, and it's wonderful! The food is superb, Franco and the staff are all friendly and welcoming, and both times we came, the entertainment - a guitar singer called Bobby - was just perfect! Special shout out for the Bolo do Caco Italia (pictured), and the Espetada Chicken Skewers which is probably the best chicken we've ever eaten. Top marks for this place! Will definitely come again! 😁
