Rousta's — Restaurant in Wales

My family and I had dinner at this restaurant on the evening of the 15th of November. Over recent years, we have started to seek out family run restaurants as the food served is generally much better.

In this case, the food and service was beyond excellent. It was traditional, very flavourful, home cooked and excelled by a huge huge margin.

Their passion, enthusiasm and desire for us and others eating there to enjoy their food, environment and occasion was so sincere that there are not enough stars available to say how much we enjoyed the evening.

I know I am writing a lot, but the reason is, is that these days, people like to complain but rarely complement.

If you have not been to Rousta's then we fully stand behind in saying that you will thoroughly enjoy the tastes of the meals served, the friendliness of the staff and you will leave knowing that you will want to return.

If you’re a fan of Greek food, we can totally recommend Roustas in Mostyn Avenue, Craig y Don, #Llandudno. This is a genuine, family run restaurant with lots of character and warmth. As soon as you enter the iconic Bouzouki background music adds a friendly energy to the room. There’s lovely intimate seating for two of you want a romantic meal, or theres space to seat 8 if you want a party meal. The food is served fresh and piping hot and packed with taste with all the familiar dishes from the Mediterranean. Even though Roustas is ran by a team of three people, you always feel valued and the service is friendly and helpful. Helpings are really generous and our tip is if you are planning to have a main, don’t have a starter because you’ll be full! Food, service and atmosphere is excellent value for money. PS. They don’t have a liquor licence so pop across the street to co op and bring your own. #greekfood...

We went as a family of six on Friday (May 2021)...wow, wow and wow, the food was absolutely excellent, all made fresh from scratch, the young woman who owns it is an excellent chef. The flavours, the presentation and taste were very impressive, made all the more so because she cooked it all on her own, she only had her mother to help out to serve. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The portions were huge and we honestly couldn’t eat it all which makes you feel bad because it was so delicious. They aren’t licensed, so you have to take your own drinks but there is a shop just over the road. I wish this young lady all the success in the world. I would love to go back when we are next...
