If I could give 0 stars I would! I had visited this establishment previously with my partner and had such a lovely experience, so we booked again also recommending it to 4 of our friends who joined us......Big Mistake!!! We arrived and immediately felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, you could tell the did not want us in there, we were seated, didn't have to wait to long for the young waiter to ask for our drinks order I cannot fault him, it was then time to order food and from here on in it went down hill very quickly for our table, the food arrived.. one meal the egg was hard underneath so sent back for a fresh one, garlic bread was like cardboard, onion rings were overdone, we had ordered sauces for 3 of the meals which didn't arrive with the food so we asked for them, the older blonde lady gave us attitude asking did we actually order them, it would be clearly seen on the order that we did infact order them....i ordered the fillet steak medium rare, It came out of the kitchen rare, so I sent it back( the older lady with blonde hair had a terrible attitude towards me for requesting this) another one arrives exactly the same so that one was sent back ( we were sat next to the kitchen and could hear one of the kitchen staff say that table again isit) ..thought maybe 3rd time lucky oh boy how wrong was I.. this one was even worse, i called the older lady with the blonde hair told her my concerns and that if im paying for a meal i expect it to be cooked how i like to which she admitted that the 3rd steak was rare, it felt like this had been done on purpose, by this time the rest of the table had finished eating and I was left with no food as I'd had enough by this point. So comes to payment and understandably we are all annoyed by this point, 2 young girls behind the bar laughing and talking about us, one of them walked into the back because she was laughing so much, to which I called them out on this and how unprofessional they were being, the girl with the piercings started arguing back with me, so the big girl with brown hair (claimed she was the owner) moved her out of the way and told me to get out.

You are in a customer facing role and unfortunately part of the job is to deal with complaints which you clearly cannot, service was shocking, clearly the standard of food leaving the kitchen isn't top priority,overpriced for what it is, staff are miserable, rude and argumentative. Really disappointed!!!!

WOULD 100% RECOMMEND NOT VISITING THIS ESTABLISHMENT, best believe the bad reviews, I wish I had seen them...

Maybe I expected a bit too much. I saw the word Grill in the title and booked a table for the following evening. They stop serving food at 7.00pm and as they already had a large party coming in they suggested that we get there at 6.30pm. On arrival we were met at the door by the waitress who pointed across the room whilst saying "thats your table, number 20" then she carried on doing whatever it was she was doing when we walked in. OK so I realise that this isn't a restaurant but I at least expect to be taken over to a table. The menus were already on the table but we sat there for a good 10 mins without further acknowledgement. At this point we wasn't sure if we should order with a waitress/waiter or go to the bar. We decide to go to the bar and stand there whilst the single barman serves the 1 guy. Another 3-4 mins later and he still hasn't even acknowledged us even though my wife has the menu in her hand. Several waiting staff walk past during our wait. In the end I flag a staff member down and she said he will take our order if we go back to the table. Now I am confused .. is this a Bar or a Restaurant ?!

Anyway, our order gets taken but in the meantime the main door has been opening and closing constantly so we asked to be moved which they kindly did including taking us over to a new table. I must say that when I saw the word Grill in their title I expected they would do Spare Ribs but it turns out they don't so we settled for burgers.

The table we sat at was near the kitchen so we could see that when they rang the bell for service (for the waitress to fetch our food) they hadn't actually put the burgers on the buns. The waitress pointed it out to them but I think they were too busy messing with their phones to be bothered.

The burgers we received were very nice although they were not as described on the menu (no dill pickle and no red onion; just normal white uncooked Spanish onion).

To pay for your meal you have to go to the bar. Again there was 1 guy serving and we had to wait until he had finished serving drinks to several other people.

The food was decent enough (bit overpriced for what it was) but the service was hectic. I would think its going to turn totally manic in the...

Fantastic location, good food, good menu, great looking place.....now if only you could find some staff that were half decent it wouldn't all be wasted. 15 tables in last night, 4 waitress's and 2 bar staff. Seated quickly then 20 min wait for one waitress to come and take our drinks order. Drinks were poured and put on a tray at the bar.......and left there for another 10 mins, a different waitress even came to take our food order before the drinks were bought over. Starters arrived (a different waitress again) a little slow but no real complaint. Finished the starters, nice.....finished the drinks......no sign of anyone coming to clear the table.......mains show up! Waitress has to put the mains to one side so she can clear the table first to make room. Ordered more drinks and request replacement cutlery for those used with the starters. Drinks had the same experience as before - nearly finished the mains before someone carried them over to us and got our own replacement cutlery off the next table after 5 mins sitting looking at the mains. Table not cleared again, fetched our own menus to look at the deserts as no one was coming (only 8 tables left in now, a couple next to us asked for the bill and were still sitting at the table after we left) and were just left sitting with our empty plates in front of us. Gave up waiting to order deserts after 10 mins and had to go and stand at the till to pay.....after waiting for someone to notice us there. Didn't ask how the meal was just took the payment and walked off. Such a waste of a great looking place with good food in a great location. I understand they will make the money in the summer with different people each week who do not know any better, but as a local I will not rush to return or recommend it to anyone. Just goes to show, you can have all the right ideas but get the staff wrong and nothing else...
