Sleepy Panda — Restaurant in Wales

Its 20% more expensive to sit in yet they charge you 50p per box of food if you want to take some home with you. I spent £107 but my child was ill so my husband had to leave as the food was coming so didn't get to eat. My other son and I stayed and ate and asked for the rest to be boxed up so we could take home. They advised it would be 50p per box extra even though my husband had paid the £107 bill on the way out ! So i had to wait to pay the addtional £2.50!. This place used to be packed on a Saturday night years ago. It's now almost empty. Also the waitress seemed like we were a massive inconvenience and could barely be bothered serving us. We came to the sleepy panda on Monday Myself my partner and two children 2 &8 The service was fantastic, staff member got us a high chair which is so helpful , I do always think we get judged for taking a toddler out to restaurants but here we didn’t feel that , both kids enjoyed trying new foods and my older son said it was the best food he has ever tried ! We ordered the set menu and staff we good to let us order two and for the children to share with a side of chips ! Food was fantastic, we were not left waiting with hungry children . We had a great time and will be recommending and will return! I joked to my partner how grown up we have become finding a nice Chinese restaurant to eat at...

Bit annoyed at my greeting! As I said my name the man instantly replied "you're early"! In a not so polite manner. I was exactly 7 minutes early! OMG! And I'm not a child so don't speak to me like one in front of other customers please! The same man took a phone call order and he was shaking his head and huffing at the caller and trying to get a reaction from the customers in the restaurant, very professional! But I may add he was exceptionally helpful and polite to a young lady who arrived for her order. And my order was 10 minutes late to add insult and be equally petty!
