Smokin Griddle Swansea — Restaurant in Wales

I've been waiting for ages for Grand Opening of this one (they have been just Pop-In Kitchen to The Optimist for quite long time). So here we are...

Great toppings, delicious meat, tasty chips. They could only work out more under atmosphere and interiors of that place, to make it more friendly and warm welcome coz have a feeling of getting to dad's garage with mates around... Besides that - MUST TRY for everyone who like proper American style Burgers! 👌

After Two years decided to take a delivery from them. Have to admit that didn't change much in terms of quality and taste itself- and that's good but always could be better.

Most important thing which I've noticed from advantages is that Burger are NOT fully wrapped in aluminum foil! - great move coz it avoids boiling bun effect. Chips still taste good and shakes : strawberry and vanilla ones been just fine. First time I've tried DUNKIN CHEESE 🫕 to dip the burgers in - expected something more... Cheesy (!) but still worth to give it a go.

Years go by and there is huge competition on the market with crafted burgers on. Smokin' Griddle still strong but I have to admit that my taste buds belongs to the team from Port Talbot who opened recently a stał @ Albert Hall.

Luckily there is a massive Freshers promo at Uber Eats where spending just £20 with SG food you can get a tenner back so it is a good reason to give another chance to these guys...

Very disappointed with the food and service from Smokin Griddle Swansea on Thursday evening. We waited well over 2 hours for our food to arrive, having rang the restaurant twice enquiring about the delay. We rang after about 45 minutes to be told they were just putting the burgers on the grill and they wouldn’t be long. We then rang an hour later (so 1 hour 45 since ordering) to be told the order was just getting boxed up. When the food arrived we were missing a side and more importantly a burger. To add insult to injury the chips were cold and soggy as well. When we rang to inform them about the missing items we were told “There’s nothing I can do as the grill is off” to which we responded that “the grill is off” was not a really a good enough excuse. After saying this we were promised a refund on the missing items and told that the manager would ring Friday afternoon to discuss. It is now Sunday night and no phone call from the manager to discuss our poor experience and we have not received the...

Ordered 2 burgers. This place is down the road from me. After an hour, I called them. Was told my order had not gone to the kitchen yet because they were very busy, but it would be with me in 20 minutes. Called again 30 minutes later. They said it had just left and would be with me soon. It took another 20 minutes. When the order arrived, it was missing items so I called them again and they had to deliver the missing item. Offered no discount, no refund, nothing. If they are that busy, it should be made clear when ordering, or maybe they should stop taking orders for a bit. Their website said 45-60 minutes, instead it took 2 hours.

The food itself was ok. £35 + delivery fee, for 2 burgers, fries and 2 milkshakes is a bit pricey for a take away (I'd expect to pay that in a pub), but had the delivery time not been so utterly ridiculous, I wouldn't...
