Just left after an absolutely fantastic meal and experience! We had ordered takeaway Saturday night from here for the first time and sadly our order came minus two items which was my meal so my partner had his pizza and dough sticks but they were also quite cold so it was a bit of a disaster! At the time I was quite upset as I ended up doing us a ready meal each!

Anyway my partner rang and spoke to a member of staff who apologised and said we could be refunded for the missing items but my partner wasn’t happy as I had not had anything.

Next day Tony from the pizza boyz contacted my partner and then last night said that as a good will gesture he invited us to eat at the restaurant with some complimentary items.

We went today and ordered a pizza each and some out of this world dough sticks and I can honestly say hand on heart they were the best pizzas even over the ones we have had in Italy 🇮🇹 by a mile!!!!

We are absolutely blown away by the standard and taste of the pizzas and the dough sticks that come smothered in honey, Parmesan cheese and red chilli flakes, I could easily dip my whole daily food in that dressing it was outstanding!!!

I wanted to do this review to make sure people knew that the staff and Tony especially went above and beyond to totally make it up for the takeaway night and proved that their food was not the problem perhaps just their delivery guy! Lol

Anyway my partner is Italian and his mama and papa are visiting soon and you bet we will be taking them along to Pizza Boyz again!

We also bought a mixed bag of cannolis to have at home in our pyjamas later! I’m sure they to will be amazing!

I first tried pizza boys at a wedding a few years ago but this was my first time trying it since they opened the restaurant. I ordered pizzas for collection and since I had friends over, they also ordered pizzas for me to collect while I was there. When I turned up to collect, my pizzas were ready on the counter however my friends were not, the staff couldn't find the order for my friends pizza and had to go and get who I assume was the manager. So it turned out they had missed the order made by my friend and the manager guy went off to make it, he was very apologetic. There were three members of staff stood behind the counter and I asked if they could keep my food warm while the guy was making my friends order. They looked at me like I had two heads and had a little discussion before one of them went over to the guy making my pizza and said something to him. He didn't come back to me. None of the staff replied to me when I asked them to keep my food warm and no one moved my food, so it just sat there going cold. It took 10 mins to get my friends pizzas and then I drove home. When I ate my pizzas (3pizzas between my partner and I) they were cold and one of them was burnt on the bottom. If it had of been warm it might not have been that noticeable but all I could taste was the charred bottom. The other two pizzas were not burnt and they did taste ok but for me personally I would have rather eaten elsewhere. It's very expensive for what was just mediocre pizza. We visited for my nephew's 16th birthday with a group of 8, including my two young sons (7 and 3). We arrived early at 6:30 pm and were greeted by polite and friendly staff. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service started well. There were a few hiccups during our meal—a drinks order was initially forgotten but corrected when brought to their attention. Unfortunately, the timing of the food was a bit off—starter/side orders came out at noticeably different times, and the pizza, which we were really looking forward to, took about an hour (if not longer) to arrive.

While the food itself was spot on, and we all enjoyed it once it arrived, the long wait, especially for the pizza, was difficult, particularly for our youngest. It did feel like the takeaway orders were being prioritised over us, perhaps due to delivery deadlines with couriers. We appreciated the offer of drinks for the delay, but having to ask about our order a couple of times was a little uncomfortable.

That said, we understand places can have off nights, and we’ve seen plenty of highly recommended reviews. We hope our experience was just...
