I don’t normally write reviews but got to share the wealth on this one.
Actually went looking for pizza but the place was full, so crossed the road & found Shiraz. So glad we did, what a find, lovely restaurant, the food was the nicest we have tasted in a very long time. We are not mad foodies but know a good quality platter when we see it.
The babaganush was delicious with a proper tasty flatbread. The Beruiti a l’il mixed tabulih( delish), yummy hummus & deep fried falafel, all fresh everything & super tasty.
Mixed grill for 2: where do I start? The chicken koobideh was superb, perfect blend of spices & flavour , the lamb & chicken shish , YUM!
Honestly the whole lot was just outstandingly good. We both literally can hardly breathe cos we happily ate the lot!
Don’t take my word for it, go eat for yourself, you won’t be disappointed. Why this place wasn’t rammed I don’t know but we will definitely be returning on a regular basis. Lovely food , lovely service nice authentic surrounds.
Thanks folks 2 very satisfied customers...

For starters we had the Beiruti (humus, tabbouleh and felafel) and the Lebanese Mezzo (humus fattoush, felafel, and dolmeh-vine leaves) - by itself that would have been plenty! But we had also ordered mains of Koubideh (Kofteh) with chips (best chips ever!) and the Khoreshte-e-bademjan (tomato based stew with fried aubergines) with royal basmati rice - delicious! We were also tempted by the dessert menu and ended up having baklawa (so good!) and a special Persian dessert with ice cream (can't remember the name of it!). We couldn't manage all the food but the staff kindly packaged it up for us to take home. I almost forgot, I also had a glass of Dough (yoghurt drink with Persian herbs). And the complimentary tea was very nice too. All in all a very...
Read moreWow! Lovely place, nice and cosy beautiful decor and something completely new for me and my husband to experience 😁 we are only in Swansea for the night and wanted something different to eat. The staff are exceptional! A lovely lady Waitress and the chef (sorry we didn't get your names!) Very attentive and welcoming, they made sure we were looked after ❤️ the bread and the wine absolutely delicious and the pickled veg! We did order too much ha ha so we asked for a takeaway box which was done. Such a refreshing change from the usual Indian and Chinese, the flavours were amazing! Please bring a restaurant to Barry Island!! When we come back we will definitely try the desserts and the tea 😁 and we'll done for battling through a very tough time guys! All the best for...
