Five Stars for Sunny’s
On a Cardiff street one Sunday night, Sunny opened up, all smiles and light. The shutters rose, the grill fired hot, And what we found? A perfect spot.
Wings to start, with just the heat To make the spice and flavour meet. Then burgers stacked and tacos bold, With burritos, fajitas—freshly rolled.
Each bite was warm, each dish well made, With care and charm on full display. And just when we thought we’d hit the peak, He brought out chips—extra, cheek to cheek.
No bar in sight? That’s not a hitch. Just bring your beers from down the strip— Sainsbury’s waits a stone’s throw far, Then toast your night beneath the stars.
Sunny’s tales, they filled the air, Of travels, dreams, and how he cares. A host with heart, a laugh, a cheer, Who makes you feel you belong right here.
The bill came soft, not sharp or steep— A feast like that, yet still so cheap? We left full-bellied, spirits high— A hidden gem you must go try.
So here’s our thanks, no need to shout: For flavour, warmth, and hanging out. To Sunny’s Street Food—pure delight— Five stars from us. We’ll be back...
Read moreAbsolutely delicious food! I called the restaurant to customise one of my dishes in the order and the service I got was amazing. The staff are so helpful. They called me to clarify my ammendments, I was informed by the restaurant my order was just about ready to be collected and also had a follow up call to ask if my food was as I requested, which it was spot on! They use high quality ingredients in their food even down to the chips which are delicious! The garlic bread was the best I've ever had, the mushrooms were so tasty, I could eat more of them. My pasta which I customised to add more garlic and chilli was so perfect. The order came well packaged, fresh, hot and good portion size. The staff are so lovely and so happy to accommodate order ammendments. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be ordering from here again and will try some other items on the...
Read moreI went to Sunnys with 2 friends before a night out. The alluring promise of an Italian American, English restaurant enticed us, and Sunnys friendly face at the door sealed the deal. It's not decorated like anywhere I've ever been from the seating options to the artwork. The menu has a huge range of food as you would expect from the name. We had the nicest garlic bread I've ever tasted to start and then I got a large burger cooked nicely with mouthwatering handcut chips for 3 of us it cost £35 which is some of the best value for money I've seen in Cardiff. I believe Sunny is committed to giving the best service possible, and I would recommend it to anyone. It's the best restaurant experience I have ever had, and I will definitely...
