Sweet Corner — Restaurant in Wales

As a local Wrexham author of books concerning disability equality and inclusion, I was disappointed to learn that this shop doesn't have any disabled access whatsoever with three large steps blocking accessibility for all. I recognise and understand about listed buildings, so permission to adapt those buildings is not granted, but there was no attempt made to try to accommodate me.

I have a mild form of Cerebral Palsy, and I use a wheelchair to aid my mobility. I expect especially in the modern age, ramps should at least be mandatory, in order to make everyone feel welcome.

When asked if a ramp was available to access the coffee shop, their answer was a swift "no sorry", without any follow up to help.

The attitude of the staff was dismissive, uneducated, and clueless. I urge Sweet Corner to learn from this, including everyone in society will ultimately help your local business thrive. Excluding members of society because of who they are won't help you grow as a business.

The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready with a smile and great recommendations. It's the perfect spot for a quick treat, a relaxing coffee break, or a catch-up with friends.

I was just passing by "Sweet Corner" in Llangollen the other day and something grab my attention. The "Buble Waffle Icecream" . I was only seeing that on the internet but never got a chance to get one so i went for it(the best choice i've ever done that day) The combination of Toffee icecream and Banana covered with whipped cream and a biscoff sause,placed in a freshly baked buble waffle spreaded with Nutella,OMG guys ,you should try it . No words are enough to explane the tase and the feelings. You should go and grab one when you get a chnace,it is worhty. They have got 16 different flavours of real milky icecream so there is something for everyone. Treat yourself the way you deserve.
