Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

My rating reflects the dreadful service from the female member of staff (a male member of staff also working yesterday deserves a much higher rating as he was polite and friendly). We arrived at 16:07 with the cafe closing at 17:00. There were very few customers in the cafe. I overheard the female member of staff saying to the male member of staff "Well we have to get home some time". She came out to take the order, did not say hello, did not smile. With zero politeness said lots of the options were not available as they are closing soon. Whilst disappointing we picked from what was available. I then noticed my cup was dirty and politely explained. She did not apologise or say anything she snatched the dirty cup from me and passed a new one with her fingers inside the "clean" cup. From her body language it was a huge hassel...

i was in the area with my daughter for a gymnastic competition ,,,,so we decided to try the cafe in tesco for a meal ,,,,,we were told to sit down and the meal would arrive , ,,we went to get our cutlery and soon changed our mind , there was bits of old food still on the forks ,, every table in the place was dirty with food and liquid still on them ,,,,,no plates or trays on the tables , so the staff had removed them ,,,but the tables were disgusting ,,,,food all over the floor ,,,,,,,i tried to have a chat with the manageress about this ,,,,but she was very rude and did not care in the slightest about the hygiene problem ,,,,,,she just said that i was lucky i got served at all as they were busy ,,,and turned her back on me ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well tesco what have you got to say about this...

Wasn't expecting haute cuisine, but 45 minutes for two cold rock hard poached eggs. The staff seem totally demotivated plodding around with their chins on there chests not even engaging with customers. The girl on the till didn't even answer my direct question , not a word uttered to the two previous customers or myself. One girl with blue hair, seems to be the only one to take any sort of pride or have any structure to her work. No condoments in the dispenser, girl on til goes to a cupboard and brings back two sachets of pepper for a customer rather than refilling the box. Is anyone actually managing the staff. I can safely say my first and last visit here. Green...
