We were in the area looking for food and came across this pub supposed to be the best pub in the area with the best food available all day every day...unfortunately Monday evening we went in to find there was no food on. We tried again tonight (Tuesday) and was told the kitchen was closed. Head straight up from the castle, along the alley with all sorts of pubs and cafés until you come to a crossing, the Crown is to your left on the corner. What an absolute gem of a place this is!

A thoroughly gorgeous Welsh pub in the backstreets of Caernarfon, where the staff are welcoming and the food is absolutely lovely.

The three of us went for different dishes from the main menu (Steak Pie, Beef Lasagne and Gammon and Chips), and all three dishes were really tasty.
