A pleasant surprise! I've walked past this many times, and sort of dismissed it, thinking it was just like the typical fast-food pizza places a few doors down. How wrong I was! When I spotted the coffee machine and desserts, I realised this could actually be a real Italian... and sure enough, it is. *Proper* pizza. Great coffee. Tasty desserts (some of which are actually of Middle Eastern origin, as the guy who runs the place has North African heritage, though spent 20+ years in Italy). The best bit? Genuinely freshly made... and delicious! He proudly told me how he makes his dough fresh, hand made garlic sauce with fresh garlic, home made rice pudding (so god with the pistachio sauce) and tiramisu su. Definitely not your average fast-food pizza, despite being priced as such. Will definitely go back, and recommend. Also, not on his current menu, but he has gluten free and vegan options.

10/10 - my friend recently recommended Tomi Cardiff as they’re open until late 11/11:30 which is perfect for us night owls. Its very rustic Italian vibes which we loved! A taste of Italy. We went for a vegetable pizza and Arabiata pasta, both of which were unreal. The pizza is a traditional Italian stone baked pizza followed by copious amounts of flavour in the pasta. We were also given a taste of a vegetable calzoni, lemon and mint tea followed by a rice pudding each topped with cinnamon to take away, all of which was on the house. Not only was the customer service impeccable from two very genuine, lovely members of staff, the food was so fast and extremely reasonable with prices. We’ll definitely be back again soon! Highly recommended.

The chef/owner is highly motivated for customers and driven for customer satisfaction. He thrives off a busy atmosphere and is welcoming to everyone. Prices are very, very good and affordable for the amazing quality of food. Eat in and take-away services available, including the restaurant being on UberEats and JustEat too. Very clean restaurant and kitchen. He is even open until very late, which is very good if you are a night owl or coming home from a night out! Also does a great traditional Moroccan tea which locals love and come in for to relax. Highly recommend for everyone to try, especially if you’re local on Albany!

Decided to give this place a visit because I was craving some wings after jumping around and getting exhausted at a concert a bit before. It was my first time going here and I'd been meaning to for a while since I was intrigued to see what had replaced rom eats old location. I ordered 4 spicy wings and chips for £5 to take away and straight away the service was great. The owner gave me a free rice pudding whilst I waited for my order and introduced me to the menu and the food they offered. He was very friendly asking my name and made me feel very welcome. The rice pudding was tasty and the wings and chips were delicious. They were covered in a nice spicy seasoning and the wings were nicely cooked and came clean off the bone. I had 2 of the wings on the way home and shared the rest with my brothers who also enjoyed them. I will definitely visit again when I'm back in Cardiff. Thank you for the great food and...

I’ve just eaten at Tomi’s pizza place for the second time. The pizza is excellent. It’s proper Italian style pizza, the flavours are balanced perfectly and the base is the right mix of chewy and crispy at the crust. As well as all the usual orders on the menu, Tomi will also make up specials at request. I had been working hard all day and came across this pizza place. Tomi was the most welcoming guy, makes you feel right at home, we had a good chat. He’s passionate about pizza and it comes across. The sauces are top notch and complement the pizza perfectly. It’s hard to put into words but the pizza and accompaniments are simply top notch. It’s very moreish. Tomi also sells pistachio rice pudding which is incredible and was new to me. I will certainly be a regular at this place, and very glad it’s open late. Highly...
