Me and my wife were searching for somewhere new to try (thank you Trip Advisor) abs discovered this little gem. Both being big fans of Japanese food, we were not let down with this and we both would go as far as to call this our new favourite. Would recommend booking a table as it is small inside. Small yet, cozy. The food was incredible. Highly recommend the beef teriyaki maki rolls, I've never tried anything like it, just so good. Overall we couldn't fault the food one bit. The staff were great. Just 2 lovely, friendly people who made us feel at home. This is why I'm always rooting for the little guys, the independent places. It's not just about good customer service. It's the passion they clearly have for doing what they must love doing. Sushi Life I wish you a long and successful future, we'll definitely be back (with the kids next...
Read moreI have been to sushi life several times and everytime is an absolute delight. Tonight they were really busy but managed to squeeze us in as we only had 40 minutes to be in and out. However, we saw lots of people get turned away so I would always recommend booking! The staff are friendly and welcoming and always on hand to get more drinks or wasabi. Everything I have ever ordered has been absolutely spectacular. Food is beautifully presented, there is a pan-Asian variety to choose from and its mouth-wateringly good. Highly recommend the Dragon Platter, its perfect for 2 people or bigger groups if you order sides and appetizers alongside. Best. Dumplings. In. Cardiff. Beats your run-of-the-mill chain sushi restaurants by a country mile, thank you so much for always...
Read moreFood were okay. OH MY GOD! The staff here were very rude as they kept asking us to leave even though we have 30 more minutes for the table we reserved. There was no one else there except us which, I find it hard to understand the rush. They also did not take walk-in customers with the reason that the place is fully booked (I was there for almost two hours and there were many empty tables). Judging by the way we were served, I believe they cant handle too many customers at a time. To the owner of Sushi Life, PLEASE hire staff with better attitude. They badmouthed us and we heard it clearly. Frankly speaking, I would prefer bad food from other sushi place rather than the service provided...
