McDonald's — Restaurant in Warwick

I can't emphasize enough how badly this place is run. The running gag now when I take my family through the Drive-Thru is what mistake the staff are going to make. It started a few years ago when I returned home to find that they had put two toys into my son's Happy Meal, instead of a toy and chicken nuggets. I drove back there, and by the time I got home, my food was cold and the rest of my family, apart from my son, had already eaten. I began thoroughly checking every single item, holding up the staff member and the queue of cars behind me in the process, and lo and behold, there was always something either wrong or missing. Of course, whenever you go in to complain, the manager, trained in de-escalation, will be all apologies. But, instead of being apologetic and understanding, spouting the usual words of condolence, it would be so much better to get things right the first time. As well as the staff's inability to get an order right, they don't make the burgers with any care at all. A lot of the time it looks as though there was an earthquake happening in the kitchen when they were assembling it, no joke. The front-of-house staff can't put lids on drinks properly, and spilled Coke on my front seats, giving the customary apology every time it happens. As for their politeness, or lack thereof, the person on the front booth, taking orders has zero personal touch because he or she is usually taking another order in between asking for your payment. The rudest person there that I ever met was the fat woman in the dining area during the pandemic who talked to paying customers like she was processing us all to enter prison. I felt like walking out, but the kids were hungry, so I bit my tongue. Avoid this place if you can. The one at the top of town is miles better. It's amazing what a difference good...

Drive through was extremely busy but understandable due to lockdown. Had to go and wait for the order which was about 10 minutes. The delivery service staff get priority with their order s this makes McDonald's a pain to go too now. It's not a quick place to go and eat anymore, especially when you are in a hurry. After driving 11 miles home our order was missing the fries and a burger not impressed at all. Update on this Mc Donald s . The delivery service side of this company is destroying the eat in experience of others. Orders are taking a while and the staff are run ragged. Lovely manager doing his best to run a tight ship. However, the toilets were awful and delivery drivers hanging around slouching over tables is not a sight a family wants to see. The tables were unclean I had to do ours myself. Food was hot and very nice when it arrived. The home delivery system is ruining every McDonald's I have been too. Standard s in cleaning is not good unlike excellent prior to the change. McDonald's is getting excessively greedy I think doing this service and risking a side of the company many families have as a treat and trip out is a big mistake. I'm not sure if I will be happy to return to any of the McDonald's again as it's being destroyed by people who are ordering online ruining what McDonald's...

I visited here today (Saturday) at 5.30pm with a group of 8 children (2 adults) after bowling for my daughter’s birthday. I had our order all ready and placed it with the manager at the counter - apologising for showing up with a big order at a very busy tea time! - he was efficient and friendly and assured me that our order would be brought to us shortly. I prepared for a lengthy wait and took some of the Pokémon colouring kits that were available to amuse the kids while we waited. No need! Our order came within 10 minutes with no errors from a very friendly member of staff. The food was good, and I really enjoyed my Halloumi fries! We were sat outside as it was a lovely sunny evening. I took the kids to the toilet before we left and I was impressed by how clean the small restaurant area was. With cleaners busily sweeping up and cleaning tables. While i waited outside the toilet with my daughter for her friends another member of staff asked if she would like some colouring to do which we refused as we already had taken the activity. She was so friendly and welcoming and waved us out as we left. I am so impressed with this experience and would absolutely recommend this branch...
