We came on a Friday evening and the service was really bad despite there being only about 10 tables, but the food was very good. It was really quite strange as we waited for a long time at the door to be seated, then we waited quite a while to order but then the food came out after about 5 minutes of waiting (weirdly quick) then the food was very tasty we enjoyed our pasta’s, and then it was about a 40 minute wait for our plates to be cleared and to order desert. Table next to us were being completely ignored must of had their empty plates for an hour before cleared. The waitresses seemed quite grumpy taking orders probably as they were run off their feet but it was really bad service I must say. You can see in the kitchen and that on the other hand seemed to be running very smoothly. Desert was nice enough, they make a big fuss about the zillionaire cake but I wasn’t too impressed. Overall quite a strange experience. Overall I couldn’t justify the prices with the service so poor. If the service was as good as the food then fine to charge those prices but as it stands I probably wouldn’t come back. Also the menu throws me as there is a section for ‘fresh pasta’ which would imply the rest of the pasta is not fresh so it limited my selection from the menu.

Food was excellent and reasonably priced. My daughter had a starter, main and dessert for £8.50 off the children's menu which were fantastic and then we got told at the end that kids eat free at the moment so we didn't get charged! My daughter had carrot, cucumber sticks, a bread roll and tomato sauce to start. Her main was a tomato pomodoro spaghetti. Dessert was chocolate gelato with mini cones filled with chocolate and caramel sauces. I had the slow cooked beef Chianti ragu and tiramisu. The pasta dish was so meaty and rich with red wine, the crispy sage leaves aren't something I've had before but they complimented the dish nicely. The tiramisu was a reasonably large portion but looked too beautiful to eat with the glitter on it! I did eat it though and it was faultless. We went on a quiet Saturday lunchtime and we were seated and given menus and colouring quickly. Staff were quick to take drinks and food orders. Unfortunately, once the food was eaten it took a long time to get cleared and offered dessert menus, the bill also took quite a while, hence 4/5 for service.

Ordered a meal on Saturday evening. Margarita Pizza, Chips with bolognaise, Cheesy Garlic Bread with balsamic onions and 2 desserts. The pizza was stone cold and burnt, chips overcooked and cold, cheesy garlic bread was burnt, cold and rock hard! One dessert was a tiny cheesecake in a huge box, so had been battered around on delivery (no fault of the delivery driver). Only one dessert was edible out of the whole order. I can't believe any 'chef' thought that it was reasonable to send an order out that way. We live 5 minutes from the restaurant, so the food should have at least had some heat! I called Zizzis and spoke with the manager, who apologised but who's solution was to apply for a refund from Uber Eats. When I enquired about having a replacement meal, I was told that they have a table of 15 and 16 people in who are waiting on their food, so I'd be waiting at least 40 minutes! The customer service was shocking and I will definitely avoid in the future. The food looks considerably better in the photos!

We visited the Leamington branch for lunch today (4th October ‘25), the food was lovely, the kids meals portion sizes were perfect for our two young boys, and we had a very friendly and helpful younger waitress serve our food and clear the table. It wasn’t overly busy so we were seated immediately and the wait times on food were very short.

Unfortunately not only was the restaurant uncomfortably hot but the server who first took our orders, who I’m pretty sure was the manager, was rude and treated us like we were an annoyance. I asked for her assistance three times, 1) to ask to order the kids meals first, 2) to order another drink, 3) to ask for cutlery after our main courses arrived because they hadn’t laid the table correctly. On the second and third times she ‘huffed’ out loud in obvious annoyance to be disturbed, so rudely that by the third time I had to call her out on her attitude. Not the customer service you expect when you’re spending £80+ on lunch for four.

It would have been a 4 star experience had it not been for the terrible attitude of one staff member. It goes to show why customer service is...
