I recently had an extremely unpleasant and concerning experience with a McDonald’s employee named Harry Marsh, and I feel compelled to report the numerous serious issues that occurred during my visit. To begin with, his service was downright awful. From the moment we placed our order, he was rude, dismissive, and seemed completely uninterested in doing his job properly. It was as if serving customers was a burden for him. However, things took a turn for the worse when I received my food and found dandruff in my burger. I couldn’t believe it—flakes of dandruff sprinkled inside my food, which is beyond disgusting and an absolute violation of basic hygiene standards. I was appalled and lost my appetite immediately.
But the most alarming part of this experience was Harry’s inappropriate behavior toward my 14-year-old daughter. While we were waiting for our food, he made several unsettling comments to her, which made her visibly uncomfortable. His remarks were highly inappropriate, especially considering her young age. No employee should be making suggestive or inappropriate comments to any customer, let alone a minor. I was horrified as a parent, and I cannot overstate how out of line this was.
This entire experience reflects poorly on McDonald’s, a company that is supposed to provide a family-friendly environment. The lack of professionalism, coupled with Harry’s disgusting hygiene and inappropriate behavior, is something I never expected to encounter. I am deeply dissatisfied and extremely concerned about this situation. Read moreThis branch's policies is a joke. I usually go to the one in Maresfield bypass but for some reason chose to collect from Bellfarm Ln today. I ordered on the app to collect at the parking bay, and waited for 5 mins, I noticed was marked as collected on the app but waited another 5 mins to give them benefit of doubt. Still nothing. I went in to collect my order which has been sitting for awhile with no attempt to actually deliver it to the collection bay. DONT OFFER THIS SERVICE AS AN OPTION IF YOU WONT DELIVER IT. That's fine, I collected my order, thanked the staff. It was a fairly big order so I did not check through all items before leaving. When I got home, I found out that I was missing two items. I called the branch for assistance and they told me I could not prove that it was not there, and therefore I could neither get a refund nor go back to pick up the items that were missing. This is apparently their manager's policy. Do you have a policy that customers should inspect every item in each bag for every take out or delivery order - if so, this should be made clear.
