The food is wholesome, imaginative, healthy and delicious. I'm an awkward customer, not able to eat any grains (not just gluten) and not allowed dairy - but l can always find something delicious. The staff are helpful, relaxed and certainly don't make me feel awkward. Soup of the day today, Minestrone, was excellent and my companion was well pleased with fried chicken, homemade coleslaw and very tasty skin-on chips.

If you want good food, a bit of an atmosphere and polite staff then maybe...
Read moreOur first visit to this restaurant. Planned a surprise birthday meal for our daughter. Rang up and booked a table for 10 of us. From the first phone call to paying the bill it was an absolute pleasure. The staff are polite and helpful. The owner was friendly and welcoming. As for the food, it was delicious. Because there were so many of us we had a good variety from the menu. There wasn't one complaint. It came out together so we weren't sitting waiting until we could all eat together. Thoroughly enjoyable experience all round. We will definitely be using this place more...
