The Green Room — Restaurant in West Lancashire

Was there last night (wed) had to go and ask for our order to be taken, then had to go back to the bar a while, later to remind the staff we were still waiting for our wine. Some of our food arrived which was cold, (chicken) after having a piece of the chicken in my mouth it was apparent that there was a hair in my mouth. When mentioned to the server he apologised and took the chicken away, and then brought some hot food back. We also had nachos which were all very soggy, no crispy ones at all. Without going on and on about our experience at the green room you must be able to gather it was not good.The rest of the food was of a poor standard. When the bill arrived I did suggest that we did not pay for the nachos in view of the fact most of it went back but because we had tried them that was declined. The fact there was a long hair in my food was of no co..nsequence. I did tell the server I would not be back, which I think is not unreasonable under the circumstances. I would like your views on...

One of the worst cocktails I've ever drank, went in with a group of 10 people all of us spending around 30 each on drinks, the last drink I ordered was supposed to be a frozen strawberry daiqury which tastes nothing else like my friends who ordered hers shortly after. The cocktail taste more like coffee and bread and when I took it back to ask for something different the two lads behind the bar made me out to be a lier even though the other 10 people I was with also said it was disgusting and then told me they weren't going to do anything to resolve it. For me, The Green Room is definitely the best bar in Ormskirk. It's great if you're just calling in for a quick drink with a few friends, but equally just as good for spending the whole evening with a group, especially if you book a booth in advance. The staff are always excellent. During busy times, the service can be a little slow, but make the most of the table service and just be patient! Talk to your friends whilst you wait.
