Poor customer service.

Ordered food via deliveroo.

Failed to turn up. Delivery driver phoned twice unable to find address. Despite full address and postcode being provided. He then told my wife we had given wrong address and returned food to restaurant.

This I understand is not the restaurant fault. However the response from the restaurant was almost as bad!

When I phoned to find out what happened to my order I was told the rider had returned it because of a wrong address. I could pick up the order if I wanted to ( I love cold food). And it's nothing to do with them. I forgot that subcontracting voids you of all responsibility!!!!

Not one sorry was given. Just told he was busy and needed to answer another phone ( which had just started to ring in the background).

I accept to a degree this was out of their control. But what's wrong with saying sorry?

A better response and understanding from staff would of been appreciated.

Shame really as I have eaten at this restaurant and had delivery more than a few times and have...

We have been to the Restaurant before with no issues....but on our last visit was not so good, and i wont be going back....our table for one thing was right next to the window looking into the kitchen area.....ruined it from the start....then the staff could not even get our drinks correct...how does Southern comfort and coke, arrive as a large coke?? then the food....well it was terrible, i think we were given the left overs! and im not joking!!! my wife an i, as well as some of our party ordered NON spicy meals....what we got was so spicy, my wife couldn't eat it all, and i broke into a sweat with my so called 1 chilli marking, hardly any meat, and mostly very runny sauce....never one to kick up a fuss, should have at the time, but hey ho...but it has annoyed me that much, here is my rant. i don`t know what the staff were on that night, but it was chaos, so no, no more going back for us! well done Orissa, minus 8...

Very unhappy and disappointed. Usually very good, but this evenings takeaway was appalling. We were told an hour wait for delivery, after 1 hour 25 mins we rang and asked where our meal was. After some conversation in the background they said it would be with us shortly. Ten mins later the delivery arrived, cold. We rang them back and explained it was cold they said they would send us a fresh one. 15 mins later the fresh one turned up everything was hot except the naan bread, which is normally piping hot. We sat down to eat but very disappointed, with lack of usual quality. Saag paneer runny, lamb rogan josh chewy and not tender, reita was off and seperating. Mango chutney was mango sauce, saag aloo was more saag than aloo. Mango delight was nice although some mango would be good. Rang and spoke to manager to complain, but the manager hung up on me so we will no longer be...

Awful takeaway. The most watery curries we’ve ever had. Prawns were like shrimps, there were 10 tiny pieces of chicken in chicken curry, Onion bhajis were very dry. Both bhajis and samosas cold. Tried to discuss with restaurant and described food as inedible. They offered a replacement but I advised that a refund is required as the food is not edible and certainly do not want a replacement. Told them they could come and collect the food as it wasn’t being eaten. They advised it is not in their policy to offer refunds only more food. Why on earth would I want more food of this poor quality? Will go through bank to get money back as I am not accepting this.

Well. Best indian dining out I've had for a while. Staff are very welcoming and attentive and polite. Nice place to sit in, great background hum of others having a great time. The food, top notch level of flavours, really expertly done, could taste every spice and herb, the spicy heat took nothing away. You can eat the chicken and lamp with no worries because it is trimmed perfectly, no fatty bits. The mushroom side was addictive and nicely fresh naan bread. Great price as well, very good sized portions. Will happily return to try more off the menu. Thank you all involved, you are masters at the pans!

Delicious! Best Indian food I’ve had in a long time. Great atmosphere with nice music and friendly staff. I can’t find the words to describe how amazing this food was. It made me really happy. I will definitely come again and again. If you love Indian food and you’re in this area, this place is a must. It’s COVID-19 safe: they have the social distancing screens and the staff wear masks covering nose and mouth! Lots of vegetarian and vegan options!😍
