Went for dinner with my best mate for a catch up. They were extremely busy and flustered which unfortunately meant that it was quite difficult to flag down a waiter/waitress. I ordered a hot head vegan burger with vegan sides. What they brought me was a meat version of the hot head with meat bacon. I didn't realise until I'd actually taken a bite. Fortunately I'm not vegan, I just like to try new vegan food, so after not being able to get anyones attention and not wanting to ruin our evening I decided I'd just eat it. At the end I ordered a cocktail and my friend ordered a mocktail. She is strictly no alcohol and we were very clear that she wanted the virgin margarita. In fact there wasn't even an alcoholic version of that cocktail! They brought our drinks and the waiter seemed unsure as to whose was whose. We still don't know to be honest! I think I got an alcoholic version of what she ordered and they gave her mine because they seemed to have no idea themselves. I joked "should I taste it first" and she said she's sure it'll be fine as there isn't a booze version of that cocktail. She drank some and it was full of booze. She literally started crying and almost had a panic attack. It was so bad. We just didn't have a nice time. They gave her a new drink for free and waved the service charge (which they automatically add on by the way!) But it doesn't undo the detriment that can be caused by my friend drinking any amount of alcohol whatsoever. Fortunately she seems OK but spent the rest of the evening petrified of adverse effects. The food is excellent but our experience is quite hard to forgive because they clearly aren't coping well with the level of demand and the first cracks to show are the allergens and dietary requirements so we wouldn't consider it a safe place to eat as it currently stands if you have intolerances or are strictly vegan or...

Visited for the first time tonight, we've been excited to go since Low Slow and Dough opened as its really local and looks lovely decor wise. We ordered a bacon cheese burger, vegan corn dogs and jackfruit tacos, the burger was perfect and the tots that it was served with tasted homemade and better than most. The corn dogs were nice enough and the chilli dip it came with was amazing. Unfortunately the tacos had a large amount of coriander in which wasn't stated on the menu (it was stated on the sweet potato tacos which is why I didn't order those) for me this ruined the taste completely as I cannot stand coriander. The staff were very kind but did not offer to rectify this in any way so I picked around and ate some of the plate but left around half of it because it was so unpleasant to me. We likely won't be visiting again as leaving a restaurant hungry after paying a decent amount has left me feeling a bit rubbish. It's a massive shame as I say my partner loved the burger and the place really is stunning but I can't justify going out to eat at a nice restaurant if the menu doesn't reflect the food and when pointed out, not being offered an...

Now to the food WOW!!!

The fish tacos are amazing fresh tasting white fish with all the appropriate accompaniments, nachos are perfect for sharing, salty, full of chicken (our choice , others available) and loaded with creama and pico

Last visit we had burgers and I have travelled extensively and I can honestly say that the burger I had with habanero jam was OUTSTANDING, ( sorry cant remember the name)

We will keep this as a firm family favourite for us and travel 40 minutes to visit as the food is that fresh, tasty and well worth the drive,

OHHHHH nearly forgo DO NOT VISIT WITHOUT GETTING A PORTION OF BURNT ENDS BRISKET!!!!!!!!!!!

BEAUTIFULLY juicy chunks of smoked brisket that is simply an art to be able to cook so good

Good selection of beers and wine And cocktails are available

Last visit we were served by Mikey who was great full of recommendations and information about the menu and beers on offer,

And Tom one of the owners I think is always popping over to see if everything is satisfactory food wise and if everything is okay for my son,

FANTASTIC place and we are looking forward to going this weekend

Keep up...

This is our second time back to Low Slow and Dough and it’s still just wow. The vibe is just permanently chilled, the staff are just amazing and they make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Gorgeous beer/larger selection, we favour the LS&D pint, and the Mexican bottled beer. The food is just 10/10 every time. Super juicy, tasty, and cooked to perfection every single time. We love this place, it’s our date night go to place and we can’t wait to come back soon! Thanks guys!

Ive been completely blown away by their service in house as well as takeaway. There are loads of incredible gluten free options including fried chicken which is increible. My husbad has tried both their regular and GF buns and has said they are indistinguishable. The tater tots are fantastic, almost like the ones back home, as well as the burgers which are cooked perfectly. I absolutely positively recommend!!
