Stanley's Cask — Restaurant in Wirral

We had a wonderful night out at Stanley's Cask, the atmosphere is dynamic, the locals are friendly. We even took our pet dog with us, who was provided water and treats - she also made a few new friends. It was quiz night, which was great fun - and the questions were far from easy, they were both eclectic and complex. There is a smoking/vaping area out the back: or, you could step out to enjoy the garden, which has been pleasantly incorporated around the yard. The staff are friendly and helpful and they certainly go the extra mile to make everyone feel at home. I hunted this pub out as I liked the look of it online and I have to say, it did not disappoint - Super friendly bar staff with great chat, quality beers and great prices too.

I couldn’t believe my luck that they served Bass Ale as it used to be a favourite of mine many years ago and finding it these days is like hens teeth! Went for a ‘couple’ and ended up staying until closing time as I was having such a laugh. Shame I had an exam the next day- oops.

It has a fantastic overall ambience and I would like to say a sincere thanks to all for making it such a wonderful evening.

Excellent as always. Our band (sandraiser) love playing here. We're always well looked after by Avril and Pete and their staff. The audiences we play to here are knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
