Very rarely put any reviews on here, service and place is lovely but was extremely disappointed with the food we received, honestly one of the worst chicken fried rices I've had in a long time, sticky overly chewy rice with hard, clumpy chunks mixed in and as for the so called chicken in the rice it tasted like a mix of ham and chicken, must of been the cheapest chicken meat (if you can call it that) I've ever tasted 😩 Ended up reluctantly eating about 10% of it as I was hungry before chucking the other 90% of it in the bin as I couldn't stomach anymore. My husband and I used to go to Ocean Wave before lockdown and the fish and chips are excellent. As others have said, the fish are large so we cut one in half. With the large quantity of chips (I can't believe the reviewer who said that the portion of chips was stingy!) one serves both of us - and we are quite hearty eaters!! Since lockdown we have used their delivery service which is fantastic. Both the guys that bring the food are lovely, friendly fellas and get it to us piping hot. A couple of times the fish was a little dry but I can honestly say that this is a rarity out of probably over 100 orders. Keep up...

Worst chippy in Wallasey had 2 pies and had to spit them out on counter as out of date and sour chips were re heats burnt soggy grandkids had salt pepper chicken we're rock hard and tiny portions the price was £18 for 2 portions chip one sausage and small salt pepper chicken I've put 3 stickers in my car window to warn people I only live 2 streets away and will warn as many people I know never to go there.
