Love this park. Been to New Brighton so many times didn't even know it was here. Easier and quicker to access park from seabank road onto magazine lane. Park has it's own car Park only big enough for about 8 cars. Otherwise lots of on street parking. Has a cafe which is reasonably priced and very clean, also had seating outside all disabled and dog friendly. Little gardens within the park and the kids will love the little fairy village (see photos) so much love and effort has been put into it. The photo with the stones; they are wishing stones, the idea is your children paint stones put their names on and make a wish as they lay them down with the others. π€ Lots of benches and picnic tables so you can take your own food. Clean park. Play area is good. Separate football area next to play area. Park is opposite the prom and also 3 minutes walking distance from the Black Pearl pirate ship. Good little day out Would highly recommend. Park also has it's own...

Great to walk through, picnic within and generally just sit and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us.
Good cafe serving a selection of hot & cold drinks, ice-cream and hot food. Lovely staff who are friendly and engaging. The coffee is good, as is the hot chocolate and cake.
Memorial garden ideal to sit and relax within, shame about the rose garden disappearing although the space really catches the sun and is nice to sit within and watch the world go by.
Joy time runs at the bandstand throughout the school holidays and is a hit amongst the younger children, lots of interactive games and activities for them to join in with.
Direct access to the promonade and beach, an ideal starting point to begin exploring the...

A good cafe, rose garden, some great hilly areas at the top end good variety of mature trees and friendly squirrels. All sorts of real and mythical creatures made from various materials brought in by the tides and much more. The stage is mainly used in the warmer months, wide variety of performances and draws some large audience numbers. There's a Fairyland theme too with lots of miniature set pieces and habitats, a fantastic place to take the kids.River views and access straight onto the prom' . Hard to believe how much is in a relatively small area as parks go. I love the way I, personally, can walk through alone in the dark feeling safe and I've never heard of any vandalism. Stay aware...
