We got tricked by the lady in the shop when she said the vegetable and tofu pho was vegetarian, both me and my husband consumed this. A week later we went to dine again and were shocked when the young guy behind the cashier told us that it is actually chicken and beef broth for all pho’s (vegetarian or not). This is unacceptable and we felt sick as it is against our religion to consume beef. The lady saw me question her and denied ever serving us! I even told him its OK we will move past this but please put a sign on the shop menu stating what the broth is made of. Its been four months and I walk through the place weekly and NO SIGN put up at all. Terrible! We have travelled extensively to Vietnam in HCMC, Hanoi and they are so honest about what goes on in their dishes. Disappointing experience here, else this would have been one of my favorite to go joints for pho. Vegetarians please...

We absolutely love their BBQ pork/chicken rice! The meat is chargrilled to perfection, and you can really taste that delicious, smoky flavor. The spicy sauce on the rice noodle salad is a refreshing surprise—not too spicy, but it adds a nice subtle kick. We were pleasantly surprised to find such authentic Vietnamese food 🇻🇳 in Surrey.

Honestly, they deserve much higher ratings!

Had lunch today at Bip Viet, we ordered a chicken curry, a steamed chicken bun and honey glazed BBQ pork baguette. The curry tasted great, the chicken had a chargrilled finish which went perfectly with the rest of the dish. The BBQ pork baguette had a great flavour, shredded cabbage,carrot and onion salad balanced well with the sweet glazed pork. The steamed bun I couldn't eat due mushroom intolerance, but my son preferred this to the pork baguette and went down well.
