Shin’s Bibimbap — Restaurant in Woking

Around 6 months ago I started a full time role in Woking. During my first week, my colleagues introduced me to 'Shin's' explaining it would be the best Katsu I've ever tried. Boy, were they right. The katsu curry is simply on another level to its competitors such as Wagamamas and Kokoro. Really generous portions of chicken, rice and ladles of sauce! It's hot, very fresh and very affordable. They never use an old sauce, often making you wait a few seconds extra to give you the piping hot sauce from the hob! This has become a regular source of lunch for me, the sweet chilli chicken also being a firm favorite. A regular portion is enough to fill you up and for the price of £5, you really cannot go wrong. My food was delicious, so satisfying and filling. I ordered a chicken bulgogi wrap which was massive and great value, especially if ordered in the lunchtime deal which I unfortunately just missed the window for. I was over-zealous with my order so I asked if they could re-wrap my wrap in fresh tin foil so I could put it in my bag without it leaking and they very graciously did so. Fantastic place for really tasty food. Reasonably priced and staff are always friendly. The reason for my review, I turned up about 10 mins before closing and asked for the sweet chilli chicken. Instead of serving me what had been sitting under the heat lamp, the lovely lady mentioned it had been out for a while and if I didn't mind waiting would make me a fresh batch. She could have absolutely just served it up, making her job easier before home time, but went out of her way to ensure I got the tastiest of meals.
