We began with the Nocerella olives, mushroom & mozerella aranchini which was perfectly crisp on the outside revealing a creamy mushroom filling. The scallops were cooked to perfection lathered in a creamy and rich sauce. For the main course, the Tangilini with Halibut and Clams was simply outstanding - exquisitely delicate pasta, tossed in a luscious, buttery sauce with just the right amount of earthy sauce.
Service was attentive yet unobtrusive, with the waitstaff offering thoughtful recommendations. The pacing of the meal was perfect, allowing us to savor every course without feeling rushed.

Read moreThey made me feel really uncomfortable while trying to feed my baby so my experience was all ruined from the start. They asked me to cover up assuming a mother feeding her baby would upset other customers when one can hardly see any flesh unless they come really close (and then they would be the ones inviting my personal space).
I wonder if they know the benefits of breastfeeding and how much we are saving the NHS in the long run.
I got an empty apology ("sorry madam") after my husband made the member of staff do it. But it just felt awful. In communication, 7% of what you say are words, 55% is body language and 38% is tone of voice.
I'm really disappointed at this place. Food wasn't worth going up The Rock for if I'm going to be treated like a piece of meat. I would recommend owners and staff to read the book "the Food of Love". Don't worry, it's got a lot...
Read moreCongratulations you have lost your local customers. I am writing this review as I feel the owner Ilenia is completely out of order. I find it highly unprofessional that she used a 16 year old to work two separate ‘TRIAL’ shifts and expect it to be done for free. To then tell my daughter she isn’t fast enough and will be in touch during the summer. She had no intentions of contacting her in the summer. She really upset my daughter & knocked her confidence, and I will not be recommending this cafe to anyone local to Tettenhall. Ilenia only paid my daughter for the hours she worked after I threatened to report her to ACAS for illegally exploiting young workers. The worker Aman in the kitchen was shouting FASTER FASTER, like my daughter is a robot. Where is the respect? We are human, not robots. Will never ever be visiting this place again. Bring back...
