Not at the standard the location dictates it should be of late. This is one of the best locations in the city. Making this pub a success should be like shooting fish in a barrel. It's a nice building, staff usually nice, and food is okay. But it should be better. Our food was recently bad. Twice. And then after sending it back and not eating it, so rejecting it twice, our waiter still charged us for it. She told me that I need to go and explain to the manager. We have a baby, which the waiter can see, and so tellimg me to go and have the same conversation with the manager when we clearly have limited time is yactless, perhaps even bad service IMO. I understand the waiter is just following protocol, and so don't blame them (she was a good waiter, friendly, etc). The process by management regarding this is where the fault lies. It's micromanaging and making the experience for us bad (having to go find manager to explain the issue with our meal for a second time when we are trying to leave in a nice way, keeping our moods up, baby happy, etc is not a great atmosphere or activity, and not one I want to be paying for). The vegan dishes were marked with "allergy" sticks, when veganism is not an allergy. Basic food awaness should be trained. The vegan options are consistently lacking (you have to buy all the extras just to make the burger not dry) and the bang bang Cauliflower was soggy slop. Twice. I understand vegan dishes are not the majority, but if you can't or don't want to sell them and provide them well, maybe just dont have them on the menu? Lastly, even though we are regular locals, we are not treated as such. The reception upon entry is always a it oddly frosty. I don't know why. I understand it is a busy pub. But if it's too busy to handle, perhaps hire more staff? The waiters, who are all great, do seem to be getting more stressed. Perhaps it's just struggling with the summer business? It's summer, I know, but in that case, surely just hire some more for a while? On the whole a great location, building, and decent staff. But just a few things that are letting it down and making us not want to return, unfortunately. Mainly the food. Will give it a few more goes and see if these...

Absolutely awful!!! Table booked for 8pm m, we arrived at 7:30 for drinks in the bar. We were not taken to the table until 8:40pm. The table was too small and and short of chairs for the 8 of us. Another chair was placed on the table. We were then told we would have to wait 45 mins for food. We asked for some nibbles which bread platters were provided but some of the bread was stale! When the starters came at 9:30 the mushrooms on croute were actually served on a none toasted bun. The scallops were cold and uncooked, the manager agreed with this. The main course came at approx 10:15pm, the lamb shank was burnt to a crisp, on asking the manager if he would eat this his reply was no!!!! The mixed grill was inedible and returned to the waiter. The Steaks were cold!!!! We were also told that the chicken burger was not fried, but when it came to the table it was. This was also returned. All in all a terrible experience. The waitresses were apologising all of the time and saying that everyone seemed to be complaining. The manager also said that he had witnessed that the scallops were looking uncooked but still allowed them to be served!! All in all awful and would never recommend this place! The manager did not charge for the food which is one blessing as it was not eaten, but to say he was aware of undercooked food being served to customers leaves...

I've been here a few times for drinks over the past year. I always came for the fantastic view that over looked the whole city. I did come in on Sunday with four other friends, we hadn't booked and I could tell the whole place was rushed off it's feet, so finding us a table was appreciated. Our drinks were take and food order too, however 20 minutes later they came back to take our food order again as something regarding technology had not lead our order into the kitchen. After being seated for an hour our food came, and it was worth the wait however our starters came out at the same time as our mains, starters being cold too (little disappointing) but, the mains were brilliant and adult sizes too. After a third visit it was time to adventure for a weekday meal as I did some laptop work. I did come on a Tuesday mid afternoon, so lunch was just finishing with dinner crowd closely to follow. I enjoyed a lovely Steak Sandwich with Fries and halloumi on the side, I ordered a side salad too which isn't needed as both dishes came with a good amount of salad already. (Unless you love your salad then HEY go for it) Everything was hot and fresh! I stayed for a few hours in total enjoying the view as I worked, Laura made sure every 30 minutes I had everything I needed and to give her a shout if I do. So that's why I have given this a 5...

The Two Greens is a refurbished modern pub otherwise known as The Rock/Wacky Warehouse in its former life. The car park is up a hill and there was plenty of space available. When you enter the pub, there is a open and bright chic interior you are presented with. The host greeted us promptly at the entrance and we were shown to the table accordingly. The pub has amazing views in its beer garden at the rear overlooking Wolverhampton. Pros * Good atmosphere and vibe inside the pub during our visit. * Staff were attentive and friendly in their manner * All food ordered was presented well when received. * The meals were good value for money overall. * The general quality of the food overall was good. Cons * The time to receive the food and drinks order today was a little slower than expected given the level of trade at the time. * The toilets had minor cleanliness issues and appear a little dated in appearance. * The chicken was a little dry. * The steak although stated as a smothered steak could have had more BBQ sauce on it as a lack of it made it a little dry. * The car park could have been lit better. Overall we would visit again. 8/10.

Such a shame looking through these reviews and pictures because we clearly just came on an off day. We came for breakfast with high expectations because it’s a lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere and staff. Unfortunately due to very poor quality of the food, our standards weren’t met at all, not even close! Normally I take pictures of the food but these dishes weren’t worthy, no garnish at all, not even a sprinkle of pepper or salt. Extremely bland. We both had salmon and it was clearly the lowest quality, I could taste it in my mouth for the rest of the day. I’m sure the rest of the menu is fine but I’d rather not leave disappointed again. Maybe the chef was having a bad day, it happens.. but then whoever’s job it is to bring the food should say something to them to keep the standard consistent. Here’s a picture of the old dried out salmon.

Used to come here all the time when it was Goodwin's. Stopped for a while after the takeover as they stopped doing breakfast. Returned the other week for the first time in years and their breakfast menu was impressive, few veggie options too. If you come for breakfast make sure to order rostis! The best thing here is the view, absolutely beautiful. Only irritating thing is they appear to allow dogs in the restaurant which ruined the experience and calm atmosphere. Lovely service from a brunette lady (I want to say Laura?) Who was top tier and down to earth. I'd say this was probably my 8th visit here and certainly won't be the last!
