Ava’s Cafe and Bar — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

I had such a lovely lunch experience at Ava’s Cafe & Bar inside Frasers in Wolverhampton today! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect escape in the city center- such a hidden spot !

We tried Roasted Ham & Rarebit sourdough, which was simply divine—perfectly toasted with a generous topping that had just the right amount of flavor, served with chips - it was a huge portion! The Sweet Chilli Chicken Salad was fresh and vibrant, balancing spice and sweetness beautifully. The Crab Cakes were another highlight, crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor inside.

For dessert, I couldn’t resist trying the Passion Fruit Ripple and the Angel Sparkle Cake. Both were heavenly and the perfect way to end our trip!

To wash it all down, I enjoyed a refreshing Peach Iced Tea and a bottle of Marlish Elderflower Sparkling Water really refreshing!

This beautiful cafe has been on my list for a few years now and I'm so pleased I was finally able to go today. I called ahead for afternoon tea (the menu options looked delicious as well). The table was prepared for us but we opted to sit at the sofas. Gorgeous selection of bottomless hot drinks. The staff were very knowledgeable on how to elevate some of the drinks.
